Defensive backfield - DaRon Bland

Rams move Kupp around quite a bit, I would imagine all CB will get matched up with Kupp.
Yeah I would too. I’m just trying to make a point how much I like the rookie. It’ll be hard to follow one person all over the field especially a tight end

Kupp leaves the best slots Cbs in the dust.Stafford throws it to him so much because he is almost always wide open.Putting a rookie on him may be too much but we might not have a choice.

Bland is great. I'm a big fan.

But I'm also a big fan of Anthony Brown. That guy is like glue, most of the time.
Well can you please tell him to turn his head and track the dang ball. A great sign that the ball is coming is when the receiver turns and looks for the ball!

I say let the rookie, cover Cooper Kupp , he might just be cocky enough to get the job done. And not realize how big the situation is. ( I like him better than brown ) I truly believe the key to the game is stopping him. Pressure on Stafford he will put up an INT to lose the game. There not as dangerous as Some people, want to make them out to be.
Pro Football Reference has him giving 6 catches in 8 targets, so lets tap the breaks a bit here. He isnt better than Brown or Lewis right now

Best bet is to just play Kupp where he lines up.
Would take my chances with Diggs on man but roll coverage when not with Diggs.
Would be hard to take Donovan out of his role, what he has been doing, but might have to in order to slow down Stafford to Kupp connection.

The guy I'm concerned about this week is LVE.

Does it say where those catches were? If they were for a yard or two, then that barely counts. I don't recall seeing him get burned.

That would be an interesting strategy, but I think I’ll pass on man covering their only real receiving weapon with our rookie 5th round pick… who happens to be the Cowboys 4th corner.

The team will use a variety of coverages in this game. They’ll play some man, yes, but they’ll no doubt have Kupp doubled when they do. Quinn will mix the coverages up hoping for Stafford to make some mistakes.

Bland is really good but it would be lunacy to just have him on Kupp all game.

Why? Kupp isn't beating you deep like that.
Not before he catches it. Keep someone behind him and you can break on the ball to try to keep him from catching it at all. Have someone behind him for when you miss.

Here we go again. Us fans are seeing what could be greatness in a player, but he can only get on the field when there is an injury. The coaches are behind the eightball again. So now the question is how long will it take them to see what we see.

At the very least, he should be our starter opposite of Diggs next year.

I already went on record and predicted a Pick
