Remember on that long pass down the right sideline to Dotson it was Bland who was slow getting over and gave up the catch. Not to say that is a huge deal to give up one play, but let's tap the brakes on a kid who has played one NFL game playing Cooper Kupp man to man.
Well . . .if you put it that way

You cannot stop Kupp, but you can contain him. SF did that.... he will get his targets and his catches. The key is to tackle him and limit his YAC which is what breaks you. He is Stafford's primary target most of the time, always looks for him. Relies on having him run after catch. I feel Dallas has the DBs to do that, and the front 7 to apply pressure on Stafford.
San Fran allowed him to eat and shut everyone else down . . . At one point that's all Stafford was throwing to . . . And it worked

Its like you said . . . He will get his caayches . . Just Contain Him

Yeah I would too. I’m just trying to make a point how much I like the rookie. It’ll be hard to follow one person all over the field especially a tight end
 . . What part of Kupp's Game are you staring at?

Best bet is to just play Kupp where he lines up.
Would take my chances with Diggs on man but roll coverage when not with Diggs.
Would be hard to take Donovan out of his role, what he has been doing, but might have to in order to slow down Stafford to Kupp connection.
I don't think so with this years Rams who are struggling with the Offensive line.

I say do what you do . . . Impose your will . . . and see who can get to Stafford before Krupp makes his 1st Cut

The way Micah and Donovan are getting into the backfield I wouldn't change a thing

Here we go again. Us fans are seeing what could be greatness in a player, but he can only get on the field when there is an injury. The coaches are behind the eightball again. So now the question is how long will it take them to see what we see.

At the very least, he should be our starter opposite of Diggs next year.

Only issue with this is...Tom Brady.

I would assume that all his coaches and a numerous amount of football minds said he isnt NFL elite. But here we are.

Sure...Bland might have had the same grade...and the Cowboys brass are not playing him unless there is a "next man up" situation...but...Tom Brady.

You seriously cant argue against it.

I say let the rookie, cover Cooper Kupp , he might just be cocky enough to get the job done. And not realize how big the situation is. ( I like him better than brown ) I truly believe the key to the game is stopping him. Pressure on Stafford he will put up an INT to lose the game. There not as dangerous as Some people, want to make them out to be.

GO OUT THERE AND LOSE HIS CONFIDENCE for the rest of the season I don't think so!!

I’m hoping Bland spells the end of Jourdan Lewis. Lewis was never a great slot corner IMO. I think he’s a pretty savvy utility player for special assignments (ex. spying) and certain coverages where routes don’t get stretched; his long speed is bad.

No CB can shut down Kupp because they scheme him open….novel concept Dallas doesn’t understand fully. They hide and protect Kupp with clear outs, picks, screens. They shield him with TEs and WRs, even pulling linemen. They delay him off the line. They just want the ball in his hands to see him racking up the YAC. What you have to do is make solid tackles.

Why would he lose his confidence. That’s a ridiculous statement. Nobody can cover cupp. Totally increase his confidence

None needed, you want to take perhaps our worst and youngest inexperienced player AND put him on their best offensive player lol
Have you seen the youngster play. Obviously not

Kupp leaves the best slots Cbs in the dust.Stafford throws it to him so much because he is almost always wide open.Putting a rookie on him may be too much but we might not have a choice.
The rams scheme the guy open, he faces LBs in coverage more than any WR in the nfl.

Nah, dude is going to have a tough game against us.

This is a different year.

The Rams are going to line up, and execute their play quickly. That's what they do. They let the ball fly so that they can buy more time when they need it later. But they are going to run those little dink and dunk passes to Kupp all day, and try to beat us deep. Good thing for us, Diggs knows how this works.
