Im a QB in the first guy, but if they are confident they can get there guy in the 2nd I wouldn't mind Bosa or Ogbah one bit

Like you, I am in the "we need to come away from this draft with a QB to groom". I think we have the ideal situation this year, to take a QB, sit them a year or 2 and get them NFL ready. I go back and forth on Goff and Lynch at the top of the draft, or try and go 2nd round on Wentz or whomever etc.
In my perfect world, we would draft Wentz in the second and groom him to be the eventual future SB winning QB (after Tony gets his). Unfortunately, I have 2 problems with my own perfect world.
1) What if we coach Wentz in the Senior bowl, decide he is what we need, plan to take him with our 34th overall pick and someone snakes him from under us. Then we are scrambling to go with plan B or C. Sucks to be us.
2) I don't believe in Wade Wilson or his ability to groom/coach up anyone. Don't think he has done anything as our QB coach to warrant thinking he would/could train 'em up. He would be the first coach off this staff I would let go of...

I dont have much faith in Wilson either, however I will also say that especially when your a high pick as a QB you have to be master of your own destiny and make it a point to take the steps to ensure you become as good a pro QB as you can on your own. True off all positions, but QB more then anything considering that is the leader of your team and your tone setter. Thats where character and football character are vital traits for a QB, and why I have soured on guys like Cook and Hackenberger who's football character has been called into question somewhere
