According to NFL.com, going into this game, the Cowboys rank dead last in total defense. Yet, they rank 14th in scoring defense, allowing 23.2 points per game, which is above average and semi-respectable.

It seems there's a lot of incongruity with this team.

And the defense is ranked 2nd on takeaways. Gives up boat load of yardage, and gets lot of takeaways, hence middle of the road points allowed.
