Billings is so powerful but also chases like crazy. Oakman can do freakish things but often he is just lost in the wash.
If we move to a more balanced DL Billings mid R1 is ideal.

I agree. I have never been one to put a lot of emphasis on the 1T in this scheme, but after seeing what Carolina can do with two guys who not only hold the line but afre explosive chase down guys, I have come around.

Not a fan of Buckner, lacks the elite speed, power guy that lacks awareness to shed and it shows in his game.

to be honest I only really like Geoff at #4 and if he is gone I am ok trading back and taking best defensive player on board out of these guys:

1. Deforest Buckner
2. Myles Jack
3. Andrew Billings

I like Jack and Billings. No so much with Buckner. The first two would be amazing addition to the D.

Disagree here. Myles Jack is debatable, Jaylon Smith would have been a real strong favorite with a healthy knee.

But you are right, I think it is time for the offense. That was our real downfall last year, even with the QB issues. We had no explosive players at WR. We were mediocre at RB until getting McFadden involved more. We actually had Dunbar playing a crucial role when a player of his unreliability had no business being counted on.
I think Jack may be the 2nd best overall player, but I wouldn't take him at 4

Broaddus just spoke ot this on the radio.
Said in this defense Bucker is a 1, lol.
Said a Cowboys scout saw the Mel mock with Forest to Dallas and asked, When did we move to a 3-4?"

Basically Forest is likely not even on the Dallas board. They don't see him as a fit.
