I see. So you meant "trio" in the sense that they would be on the field at different times, different years, or just incase one got injured.

I heard that the Cowboys and Pats are doing a scout swap this week. And I guess the main target for the Boys is Deion Branch. How many of you like this idea? This was reported in the morning news and at rotoworld.

deion branch isn't in camp. plus they have plenty of film on branch so they don't need to send a scout. Its probably back up for back up. players you don't see on the field regularly. for us its probably

How is Dallas going to scout Deion Branch when he is not in camp?..

The Boys wouldn't be looking for a Deion Branch anyway... they have their top 2 WRs, they're looking for a veteran 3rd receiver, who could step up if one of the starters got hurt... Branch is a feature receiver, and for all his talent would not be a particularly good fit in Dallas...

If the Boys are indeed looking at Pats' WRs, Caldwell would make the most sense... Brown is too old, Branch is too valuable to them...

Personally, I don't think BP wants to do any business with Belicheck...

that said, Branch is an EXCELLENT WR. One of the best IMO.

I don't see us acquiring a receiver of this caliber this season. We'll be getting some 3rd string type garbage.

I don't know about you fellas but I'm a great deal more worried about our running game then I am about our 3rd or 4th WR. We don't get something figured out where that is concerned and we are going to end up with Romo playing QB with no run support and a horribly hamstrung offense like an anchor around his neck.

The Dallas Morning News' Cowboys blog throws out a random suggestion that Dallas could be interested in Deion Branch.

The Cowboys and Patriots are reportedly doing a "scout swap" later this week, which is common enough. The writer admits he's just "throwing it out there" and we wouldn't bother addressing the rumor if we didn't suspect the story will get attention. Any deal involving Branch is highly unlikely to say the least.
