I think Deion was on to something when he posed the following question this morning... & I quote...

"Did the Eagle really want Demarco? Or did they just want to take him from Dallas?"

I really think he nailed the ugliness that permeates Chip Kelly's brain. Think about it. Demarco does not fit that offensive scheme. It's highly likely that Chip went to the extreme length to ensure he would not have to see "the Cowboys Oline AND Demarco" twice a season.

I can tell you this. Philly fan base is completely demoralized. They aren't even animated like they usually are...just glassy eyed and numb. They didn't think Dallas had a prayer without Dez.

Ok, but Demarco also agreed to play there. So we're saying his decision was greed only as it should have been obvious to him that he didn't fit in Philly.

Why do people keep saying Murray doesn't fit the scheme?

He is exactly who Kelly wants and the type of runners he uses in college.

Chip wants to ahead of the chains so that his offense remains multiple in options.

Chip would prefer 3.5 yards every rush play than a loss of 1 then gain of 8 every other run which is hat hr got with Shady. Same average but one gets you off schedule and the other does not.

Lol they'll feel worse after they lose to the jets next week too!!!!

lol, I said that when they first signed him.

Prime is a little late to the party, I'm afraid.

What's with the greed? You are all lying to your selves if you say you would leave a few million on the table. He's a RB. They only really get paid once.

Totally agree with you but I'm thinking that he's regretting his decision right about now...he's never gonna see all that money once they cut him

What does Chip care? Its not his money. He'll be back in college like Saban and The Ol'Ball coach soon.

His guaranteed is $9M higher than what we were offering apparently, that's a lot of security for your family.

It makes no sense for chip to sign him so we don't.... we put almost zero effort into signing him, another team eventually would have

I agree with this, the mistake Chip made was getting rid of his offensive linemen. He wants the kind of runner Murray is yet he dismantles his O line.

The reason he is not a fit is because he is not an east west effective runner hes a I formation going fwd ... the scheme Kelly runs is not suited well for Murray

That was my first thought the day they signed him.

i thought that at least chip was going to hybrid his running game to fit murray. guess not. awkward. wonder if he makes any adjustments.

This.

He's better off using Sproles if he's going to continue using RBs this way.
