Lighten up Deion.
Deion was the best CB I ever saw but a complete idiot as an analyst
I had no problem with Deion said because his snap back was factual.
Besides, Deion tried to take the high road but didn’t know the address.

I loved Deion when he was a Cowboy, and he was one of the greatest corners to ever play the game, but man he's terrible on tv. And why so butt-hurt over a throw away comment like that? It was a joke, get a sense of humor Prime.
Honestly, if you've paid attention to Deion's commentary on NFL Network over the years when Tony Romo was playing, you could tell that he had a deep disdain for Romo.
When Romo would play well or lead a comeback, you would hear very small praise from him and Faulk. But when Romo would screw up it was "there he goes again" and they would go on and on about how Tony isnt a good QB.
Look at that clip. Deion was furious behind that fake smile. The fact that he said that Romo keeps taking shots at him over the years is absolutely absurd.
Deion and Faulk did that for years and Romo didnt say anything.
That game where Romo was invited up to the set when he was player of the game and had to sit between Faulk and Deion was high comedy.
The reason for deion hating Romo is because back in 08 the nfl network had the broadcast of the cowboys final home game at texas stadium vs baltimore. Deion and Marshall faulk worked in the booth for the game so they did interviews with each team leading into that game.
the sunday night before the final game vs the ravens, tony romo injured his back for the first time. If I remember correctly it was fred robbins who kneed him in the back. When deion and faulk showed up to the facility to interview Romo and others Romo was getting treatment and couldn't make it. Faulk and sanders took it personally and I remember them hinting that he was soft and didnt really have an injury but was afraid to talk to them because of the nonsense that season with owens.
That is the other issue, Deion and Owens were supposedly close and this was two weeks after the falling out when Owens said the white players I.E. Romo and Witten were drawing up there own plays and not throwing the ball to the black players.
so ever since then faulk and sanders hated him and took every opportunity to bag on him.
This was the game romo injured his back for the first time.
and then the game sanders and faulk called
oh and I love that sanders was terrible in the booth and got fired along with faulk and Romo is a huge success!!
Just seemed odd for a guy who never reached the NFC championship is taking shots at someone. Mcnabb is more qualified to work for CBS than he is but thats another debate for another day.
Here’s the thing about Deon. Did he want to tackle? No...that wasn’t what he was paid for. Did he avoid contact and let guys who were there make the tackle? Yes. Did he sidestep and tackle guys by their jerseys? Yes.
But I can honestly say that I never saw Deon miss a tackle. The guy was a super human athlete. He didn’t want to stick his head in there and risk injury, but he always got his man on the ground. He WAS SOFT, but I never saw him let a guy juke him or run by him for big yardage. And for what he brought to the position, there wasn’t a team in the NFL who wouldn’t have loved to have him on defense.

And Tony Romo wasn't wrong about Peters either. lol
