Deion won Super Bowls with the 49ers and Cowboys, but he played for Dallas longer, so he should consider himself a Cowboy. If he considers himself a Falcon too, that's fine. His narcissism is what makes him say he was a Falcon. He knows he'll be the only HOFer in their history. With the Cowboys storied history of HOFers and other great players, he would get lost in the shuffle. He knows what he's doing.

I never liked Deion. I just remember him thinking he was too good to even enter the defensive huddle.

Great skills but more of and "I" player and not a team player.

There's no "I" in team... but there is certainly a "me"... ;)

What I want to know is who will introduce/sponsor him in? If it's a player, I suspect it will be Michael Irvin; if it's an administrator, I suspect it will be Jerry Jones. If it's a coach, I have no presupposition as to who he might choose.

The defense doesn't really huddle up any more and hasn't for a long time. Plus Deion really only had two basic responsibilities while playing and that was to either "cover the guy on your side" or "cover so-and-so wherever he lines up".

I don't like Deion, either, but I can't give him grief for the huddle thing.

I remember this cover story. Wouldn't mind reading it again.

My all time favorite Sanders story was his 40 yard dash at the combine. After he ran it he turned to the stands and bowed.

Can't remember where I read it or if its true, but I believe it.

You can read it again, at SIVault.com . They have archived every SI article ever.

Go in as a Falcon nobody is begging him to sport the Star.

Emmitt and Irvin that's who really loved the Star. Nobody will compare.

Would he or could he go in as a Falcon with Jerry as his speaker? Don't think so, but I also don't think he's choose Jerry. Would like to see it.

Who spoke for Irvin? Can't believe I don't remember.

Deion will probably be a first ballot HoF, what will he go in as tho? A Cowboy or a Falcon? He played on both teams for 5 seasons.... I think he should go in as a Cowboy because I think most people do associate him with the Cowboys of the 90s.

Both!

(Actually, I hope Deion just goes into the Hall of **** and Go Away, if he does that, I don't care which jersey he's wearing when he does).

I don't care that he played for my team, he's always been a tool and always will be as far as i'm concerned.

Championship!
My wife new him (somewhat) in college. He was always flashy, but always a clean liver as far as drugs and alcohol went...and an overall good guy. Personally I don't know how he went through FSU without drinking. :) The flash turned some people off (including me to some degree), but he was harmless really.

...And an absolute dominant cover corner.

MEion $ander$ will go in as an egotistical jerk, which is what he has always been.

The teams he played for never mattered to him when he was playing so why would they matter to him now?

Also, the NFL HoF doesn't recognize a particular team that the player is associated with during inductions.

He played for the Cowboys what can I say, this is the price of FA and player movement. You not liking him I can understand but true Cowboy? he was a true member of this franchise it is what it is.

I don't care about the facts dude, He played for Washington and Niners. Emmit is not a Cardinal just because he played for two years  . Of course he played for Cowboys. He is not a true Cowboys player since he doesn't consider himself a Cowboys player himself first of all. Deion distroyed cowboys from within, in case you didn't pay attention to what Moose etc. said about him few years ago.

I will never forget that idiot for taking direct shot at Aikman after 98 playoff game against Cardinals. HE was just much clever than TO, and not too overt. He is the one who started the racist crap about Aikman apparently( I think Mike Fisher noted that recently and I heard about it before from some other media members too). And this has nothing to do with his talent, since no doubt, arguably best Cover CB to ever play the game.

He once said (post career) that he considers himself a Falcon...

Of course. If he went in as a Cowboy, he'd be just another great Cowboy player that's in the Hall. If he went in as a Falcon, he'd be "The Man." Makes more sense to consider himself a Falcon, rather than a Cowboy or 49er. Just being practical.

Deion was an absolute genius. He marketed himself and it made him millions by doing it. Off the field, he's a great guy that is very down to Earth. But put him in front of a camera and "Primetime" shows up.

When he played for the Braves, he use to race the two guys that had the fastest 60 yard dash during spring training. The funny part was at about 40 yards he would turn around and run backwards and still win!! I kid you not! Fastest man I have ever seen! Could go first to third in a heartbeat.
