Do you mind elaborating on this a bit?

Are you saying Jerry would want Deion above all else?
Yes. Craig asked him where would Deion be on Jerry’s list and he said top two or three. Meaning overwhelmingly. But lots of things in the way, Colorado, buyout, and money.

And that's a good thing? Hasn't worked for the last 30 years
Deion would be a failure but he would bring a circus.

Jerry will choose Schottenheimer because like Deion he will fail but he will fail doing it Jerry’s way.

Thanks.

Personally, if it were up to me and I had a 10 billion dollar organization with millions of fans watching my every move, I'd probably go the extra mile to hire the guy I really want, the guy that would make my team popular and my franchise relevant again. But that's just me. I'm not a billionaire, what do I know.

These stories are not even interesting to me anymore...

David Moore, like the guy...he has built a perception that you can trust him....but he is tied to Jerry and in Jerry's back pocket for carnival ticket sales when Jerry needs to sell tickets.

Colorado has nothing to do with this....Deion would leave if Dallas offers better...just like a lot of coaches do.

What is hog-tying Deion to Colorado...nothing. Lawsuit. So lame.

One would think that. You want headlines and people loving you again? Hire Deion. The internet might explode if that happened.

The Ticket also speculated that if they hire Schotty they will put out the news late today which is called a junk dump or something like that. News organizations do this to not get much press going into the weekend. They went on to say if that happens Jerry is trying to hide from the bashing that will commence. (Paraphrasing here)
I heard Junior say that but I don't agree. The Friday News Dump is a thing in most areas, but not in this one with two conference championship games being played tomorrow and media covering them all day.

What is your reasoning for saying this? The guy has succeeded at everything he's done in his athletic career. Colorado was a doormat before he got there. The Cowboys have a huge culture and confidence problem. I can't believe anyone who has endured the Cowboys failures the last decade doesn't view Deion as the type of "shock to the system" we need.

This post promotes Deion over Witten.

Not saying it is those two...just saying.

Still no response from anyone on this board about my post asking about what Witten brings to the table other than being a clone of the Detroit situation if it works out.

Im not doubting Witten is a motivator...but no one is answering any decent questions about the guys football acumen compared to Deion.

Why would Jerry go Witten, other than to try and replicate Dan Campbells success, over Deion whom has a better resume and supposedly knows x an o's.

I assume Witten knows x and o's, that him and Romo spent a lot of time boarding together talking football...my question is about what Witten brings that is so much better than Deion or some other coach....unless its race related or something.

I suspect Witten can do Dan Campbell like things motivationally. Campbell seems to be more outlaw as he doesnt have a HOF reputation to uphold.

Deion is a proven motivator too.

I dont get why no one is backing up Witten here. I want to hear good things and am open to it. Im not pro Deion over Witten or anything like that...im trying to be reasonable, even if this board is not about reason
