We all love to hate those who say things that aren't colorful roses about our team, but maybe sometimes they are just right.

Hate to say but he was right and also LT was right before the season. He summarized saying Romo might be back to his old self due to the fact that the running game won't be as effective as last year and the team would have to rely on him a lot.

They used not having Murray as a cop out for not wanting to run the ball more, there were people in the draft they could've taken and McFadden hasn't been terrible. They just wanted to pass more and it's come back to bite them in the ***.

One of the smartest, well said posts of the year.

Yes. He definitely made me eat my words. I have been defending Romo his entire career. I have 2 of his jerseys and always argue on his behalf. I can't do it anymore. He was a disaster today. He looked like he had no idea he was doing. Scared and lost. Then I got to thinking well he has a bunch of comebacks and is good in the 4th quarter. He also has a nice chunk of games where he makes a terrible decision and the Cowboys lose. Remember the Lions game a few years ago when he made Bobby Carpenter look like Hall of Famer? He was a great story for being undrafted but I just can't do the rollercoaster anymore. Some of his throws are embarrassing there so bad. Now I'm afraid Jerry will make excuses for Garrett and we get stuck with the clapper. I'm like every Cowboys fan on here. We love this team. I know we all can get crazy but that's because we're die hards. Most of us have been watching the team our whole lives and Jerry should do us a favor and step aside and hire a General Manager. Then let him find his coaching staff. I know that's what's going to happen but it needs to happen. Get this team a coach. Not some guy that sucks up to Jerry

Romo was trying to knock off rust today against the top defense in football. We can't be so reactionary. He had a bad game. All quarterbacks do. Eli Manning was a turnover machine for years but got away with it because his defense won two Super Bowls for him.

Romo is who he is. But he's never had the coaching or the supporting cast required to get him a ring. Last year was the perfect storm and the officials screwed us over.

So now Romo is destined to join Don Meredith and Danny White in the Cowboys' Close But No Cigar Hall Of Fame.

Which is crazy because Romo passing a lot has gotten this team a three 8-8 seasons in a row.

Why would ANYBODY want that?

Rewind a few years and tell me the same thing. Would Don Meredith or Danny White be in Cabo drinking umbrella drinks during their bye after going 13-3? Not that it isn't true, but would Don Meredith or Danny White say "there's more important things in life" after losing a critical playoff game?

I appreciate everything Romo has done for us but I'm sick of hearing the excuses for him. It's time to cut bait and move on. Romo had his chances, he blew it, along with the coaches. Don't even use the referees as excuses, every team has bad calls. We were lucky Dez didn't get called for running out on the field with his helmet off and arguing with officials or the PI call against us when the officials threw the flag and then picked it up.

Did we get screwed on that call? Yes. Point being, that's no excuse.

".....You can get away with that against the Dolphin, but not the Panthers, something, something, something, Cowboys are not a Super Bowl team."

I know alot of people here dislike deion. He may act a little arrogant or much too outspoken to some.

I was a big fan of him when he played the game. After that he lost me a bit. Still i like listening to him. Because when you can handle his style you can get alot of valuable information from him.

He knows what hes talking about. His talent wasnt only his physics. He is great at watching film and diagnosing what oposite players are able to do or not able to do. He knows how to read offensive players. And give him that: he is right on the money about Tony Romo.

I agree with your last sentence and i must admit i lost a little faith in our FO after gaining some last season.

I thought they finally understood what Romos weaknesses are. But it seems they did not. How fatal.
