It amounts to two games that may or may not be more difficult.

Well, 2 games that should be more difficult. I would rather play Detroit then GB. Every w counts. And I do think, as of this moment, we are slight worse then what we were last year...at least there are some big question marks......I guess u could say that every year now though.

I tend to look at the worse case scenario and go up from there. And I am saying maybe we dont win 12 games this year, but I do think we should make the playoffs...

This isnt a "Elite" team yet..... Were close. But we have to prove it still....imho , we have to prove it with a few back to back playoff years and good football.

I am worried about our schedule next year! We had an easy schedule this year imho. We caught teams when they were "down" rams, seahawks...

we didn't get hammered by that injury bug. Yeah we had injuires but so did every other team.

Now, as far as I can tell, we are replacing Murray with a rookie and maybe platoon a few other backs to keep them fresh....RB is a question mark now.

We probably aren't getting Hardy. We aren't getting AP.

So. I wouldnt say were a tougher team next year. That may end up the case, but I think right now, I would have to say ....no.

couple that with a difficult schedule.......Ohhhh Nellllly!!!

You don't know how hard the schedule will be.

Last year everybody said it was a tough schedule

I know we play NE Seattle and GB. along with the NFCE games....I think, being reasonable, thats at least 4 losses......we get NE and Seattle at home i believe, but, we aren't exactly HFA kind of team....?

Hatcher was a pro - bowler who had 11 sacks that year but nice revisionist history dude

LOL--Hatcher is a JAG all day long. He had one stand out year on a defense stocked with JV players and people want to argue that losing him is equivalent to losing a league leasing rusher who just set your franchises all time rushing record on a team that is now supposedly committed to the run? Whatever helps you sleep tonight--as you can see I am not...

We dismantled Seattle at their place. Not scared of them, GB we had beat if not for fumble (Murray is gone) and overturn catch. NE has list both starting corners. East hasn't proven to be better then last season yet.

People act like we have destroyed our team and everybody else is better. Stop

I am not really scared of Seattle or GB or NE. We can play with them. I just dont think we beat all of them. This team isnt going to go 16-0. Or even 13-3.

Its just not.....

And the team hasnt been destroyed, but it did lose one of its leaders and a damn good RB.
And the D isnt all that good.........I thought Carter played well. Are we going to lose Ro too?

Where are we getting players to plug in? I know. The draft. I don't think we get Hardy,,..And we probably don't get AP. I think the FO is correcting past mistakes and planning long term. Which may cost us some tough times, this up coming year.....but in the long run will pay off...... hopefully. If we can find a replacement for Romo. I give Romo 1-3 years left. I think the FO is giving him 3-5 years.

I think this team will surprise you. I don't have the answers but what I do know by the time the season starts all your questions will be answered. Lay back and enjoy the ride.

The offseason had just begun, many ways to improve this team. One thing I do know, Garrett and company will have the team playing their hearts out, that's all I can all for in my team

I agree.....

We do have a good coaching staff. And JG is coming into his own.... I think JG is going to be a great coach here for a long long time,

But I will say this. We just signed Darren Mcfadden. Yuck. lol :)

I remember last offseason when we let Ware go and Hatcher left and all I heard was how our defense was so terrible, be a 3 win team, how we are so stupid.

We finished 12-4 and our defense played pretty decent, especially in creating turnovers.

Losing Murray and the others is just that, we still have Romo and Bryant, still have the best OL, Young players on defense, coaching staff still in place.

Maybe we should wait until after the draft and free agency, after preseason, maybe we should wait until the season starts before we judge how this team will do. I have trust in this organization and haven't been able to say that in many years.

After I look at everything we lost I'm not upset, wish we could have kept Carter with LBers getting thin but still here excited about this season. Improving, still a long time and anybody that thinks we aren't adding talent or players to this season is fooling their self.

Let's go Cowboys quest for 6

Everybody relax, let people and media doubt us.......success will be that much sweeter

I understand what you are saying, but as a result, I'm frustrated.

The biggest distinguishing factor is losing Murray and even depth players like Carter, Durant etc.

You cannot continually expect shots in the dark to pan out like they did last year.

Capturing lightning in a bottle is hard.

Off the field issues aside, am I the only one that thinks Randle alone is a 1200+ yard back in this offense?

After last season, they have built some equity with me. I'm not worried. There's a lot of FAs left.

Ware had been a complete waste of space for quite some time before he was let go, Murray appeared to just be entering his prime as a player. I'm glad both are gone, but the comparison isn't a very good one.

Yeah we are a good draft and a few middle of the road upgrades in fa away from tearing it up, I like our chances...

o_O

I would say a GREAT draft and more middle-of-the-road depth from free agency and then they might tear it up.

That is the frustrating part.

Free agency is all but finished. This is basically like wandering around the battlefield when the vultures are feeding off the dead and ripping off trinkets and jewelry from corpses, hoping they are worth something.
