In my wildest dreams, I never thought we would post a 12 win 4 loss year. Congratulations to Jason Garret and the Cowboys who overcame early injuries and low expectations to make this a great year.

I, for one, have to apologize to Garret. I had no clue that this was possible. With a first class offensive line, Demarco Murray allowed Tony Romo not to have to carry the entire team on his back while he was running for his life from the point of the hiking of the ball.

II even have to give Jerry credit for not going for the glitz and staying with the program by drafting offensive line two years in a row. What an excellent move!!!

Even if we do not win a game in post season, this season has been the most fun for me as a Cowboys fan in many, many years. I hope we make a run but I know one thing, next year we are going to be deadly.

No one else is delirious? Everyone else expected this outcome? Come on, man and woman, fess up to the fact that you thought this was going to be another mediocre year. It is OK to say you were wrong and that they over achieved beyond your expectations.

I predicted 7-9 going into the season, I will happily eat a ton of crow, I am loving every minute of this. Garrett has earned my respect.

Everybody else predicted a 12-4 season. I know I did. What were you thinking?

Not surprised in the least knew it was going to happen. Had em at 11-5

I'm a little surprised that they can win the SB this year. I thought 2015 was the earliest that could happen

All I can say is, I'm 36 and this season had me jumping up and down in front of the television like a child. Simply amazing.

I'm pretty close to ten years older than you, and I was also jumping up and down like a child all year. Very exciting football! Nail biting, throat tearing from all the screaming, running up to the TV like a crazy person when Tony hooked up with Dez on a crazy TD completion, or DeMarco was running for a 1st down on a 3rd down play, or even when the refs made a horrendous call or no-call, major screaming and running then! Complete elation with all of the great plays and all of the team camaraderie we got to see all year........just a totally different team this year. And I did all of this on a completely ruptured, trying to heal calf muscle, not good, let me tell you. But the Cowboys have had me so pumped this season that I barely even felt it at the time. Only time I did run and jump, but that's what the Cowboys do to us. They make us crazy about them. And we act a fool in the process. lol.

Thanks to the Cowboys and their great and suspenseful season, my calf may never completely heal now! And if I limp for the rest of my life, it will be worth every minute of it, because we were gold.:D

This season reminds me of the 1973 season. I don't know why but it does!

How 'bout them Cowboys!?

I really can't believe Garrett took a team that I thought was the worst in years and finished 12-4, NFCE champs, and 3rd seed in the playoffs.

We can criticize over this loss or that one, but this was a great season that far exceeded everyone's expectations

Most enjoyable season since at least 2007 and honestly I think I like this team's chances more than that one because of the coach and the strength of the team. What they do best and what they've relied on consistently throughout the season is historically what is most successful in the postseason.

The team best equipped to win in Green Bay and Seattle is the Cowboys.

not raining any parades because Im happy as well but until we win playoff games we are no better than any other year.

I understand saying that if we don't win a playoff game the result is the same from a post season perspective. But then you could also say every year if we don't win the Super Bowl we didn't achieve our goal so the outcome is the same every year a team does not win the Super Bowl.

But in truth there are many things diffetent whether we win a playoff game or not.

First is the division title was won this year.

Obviously 12-4 is different from 8-8. At the least for fans it means 4 additional games that were celebratory vs 4 games that were nerve wracking and frustratingly disappointing.

We also whipped the Eagles and knocked them out of the playoffs. I personally took a great deal of happiness from that.

We swept the Giants.

We went 4-0 in December. And punished every team we faced in doing so.

Several players broke team records.

There is a lot to like about this season regardless of post season results when compared to last year

It's great to be 'that team'.

The one - like many through the past several years - that's been playing the best football down the stretch.

And many of those teams, like Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Baltimore, and the Giants twice, went on to win it all.

I don't know which ones I enjoyed the most. I think the saints win because I wasn't expecting much this year and that changed my thinking.

The Seattle game I was too anxious. The second Eagles game was just awesome. The colts game was the most fun because there was no need to worry.
