Dallas was not in a position to draft Delmas. They didn't have a 1st round pick and their 2nd round pick they did have was at the end of the round. Delmas went to Detroit at the top of the 2nd round. It isn't as if Jerry passed on the guy. He just didn't have a pick available to draft the kid.

Don't waste your breath. This fact has been pointed out to Slade many times on these forums and he just refuses to acknowledge that fact. it's much more fun to act like Dallas passed on him.

What I'm still mad about is Sean Smith. He was sitting there and we made that silly trade down with the Bills.

We just gotta hope that the picks we acquired with the trade down (Robert Brewster and Victor Butler) end up being better than Smith when it's all said and done. Butler is off to a good start.
