I'm pretty sure Patrick Willis, that stud MLB for the Niners, also trains the MMA stuff for his workouts as well. It's starting to catch on as more and more popular for athletes.

Yeah, it wasn't the SB, it was a couple of years afterwards. I think it was LaFleur's rookie year and he de-cleated Lloyd on a block.

I just don't think most professional athletes are nearly as competitive as MMA fighters when it comes to conditioning and Nutrition.

I think a lot of guys just do what the team requires.
