I love Murray for all of the obvious reasons that you all have seen.
But the play that sold me was a 3rd and 2 play in the first half when they pitched it left to DM, he realized it was jammed up for the sweep, and lowered his shoulder and ran directly into the pile, pushing ahead for the first down.
Awesome! We did not need to try anything fancy to get a big gain or a TD, and thus losing yards on the play.
We needed the first down, he realized that and he got it. Sometimes that is all we need the RB to do.
That is the job of the RB, .. get the first down.
Don't get me wrong, I love Felix too. I think he should lose a little weight and be the change of pace back.
