*** Demarco Murray Thread ***

For some reason, this is a pet peeve of mine that I've responded to numerous times over the years. Emmitt NEVER held out. He did not have a contract. He was in contract negotiations with the Cowboys early in the 1993 season. He missed the first two games because he was NOT under contract. It's not like he had a contract and was "holding out" for a bigger one. He didn't have one. You do not play in the NFL without a contract. I'm pretty sure it's not even allowed.

I like Murray because he can run you over and get the tough yards or juke you out of your socks and take it to the house. He is the best of Julius Jones and Marion Barber combined. So I think we need to start calling him Marion Jones.

didn't the patriots have on of the worst pass defenses in the nfl when we played them last week. Look how that turned out. Didn't see romo breaking records.

CAN WE JUST BE HAPPY FOR 24HRS DANG.:laugh2:

Heck no. Rookies break all time franchise records and we hate on that fool. This is Cowboyszone....that's how we roll, sucka.

Murray was a BEAST last game! I still cannot believe he broke Emmit's rushing record. Obviously it was against a bad defense, but still anytime you break the GOAT's rushing record you know you had yourself a hell of a game. The challenge for Murray is to now duplicate his great performance. Obviously it's very unlikely he has an alltime great performance again this season, but one thing he can and needs to do is be a consistent threat as a runningback. Cowboys with a running game = most explosive offense in the league IMO along with Green Bay and New England.
