I think this will change your opinion of him it did mine

Runs high, poor between the tackles, doesn't have a lot of moves, and gets hurt.

He seemed to run fine in my opinion. His leaping ability is incredible. He ran outstanding between the tackles in that clip, not sure what you are watching? And I am pretty sure I saw a jump, a spin, insane change of direction, decent vision, and a stiff arm. If he can stay healthy enough for 6-8 touches a game, he'll be just fine.

I was watching a Oklahoma players highlights against Tulsa, Baylor, UNT, USU, and whatever other random teams were on there.

we already drafted that in number 28. I do not mind having more than one, but we still need Choice as te primary runner, or someone that can be the primary load carrier, because Murray and Felix are not that kind of ball carriers

He missed 4 games in 4 years...I guess he is injury prone....:laugh2:

I see that too, he won't be able to get away with that in the NFL, just isn't going to work.

Choice does not block or catch. He has not in three years and he is not suddenly going to start. He is not going to get consistent snaps because of it. He is not a complete back even remotely.

Thats why we drafted this guy. He does block and he does catch. He does run hard too despite what Catch says.

His problem is that he was running tenatively last year after he hurt his ribs instead of just seeing a hole and hitting it. Defenders were coming from the backside and tripping him up.

as you can see in the highlights when he hits the hole hard it pays dividends.

Hopefully Jerry kept his receipt.

Also, consider the fact that he had 1,214 yards rushing in 13 games. Now, add on 594 receiving yards in 13 games. He also had 10 kick returns for 248 yards, leaving him with an average of 24.8 per return.

Last year, he had over 2,000 positive yards for his offense. And 20 touchdowns. In 13 games.

Over the past 4 years, he has accumulated 67 touchdowns in 49 games.

Yes, he must only be good because of the teams he was playing against. If that is truly what bothers you, why didn't you say it in your original post? Or are you complaining just to complain because the Cowboys didn't agree with your mock draft?

Yep. And, we've got one of those already. :laugh2:

I remember that one time when experts felt Emmitt Smith was too small to be a every down back and Reggie Bush was suppose to be the next Barry Sanders.

- Missed the 2006 season with a severe turf toe and redshirted

- Battled a foot injury in 2007 before dislocating right knee cap on special teams, which required surgery

- Ruptured left hamstring on special teams in 2008 and went under the knife to have it repaired

- Hampered by hamstring and ankle injuries in 2009

- Dealt with a left knee injury in 2010 but played through it

No his physical ability is what bothers me because we drafted a guy who should've played WR in College and now we're putting him at RB in the pros.

The fact he is playing against defenses that are a step above playing against the air is just something I wanted to point out.

Sounds like Newman lol

How many NFL players dont play through injuries? or are hampered by something or another? I doubt very many players coming out of college come out squeeky clean and are never hampered by anything ever.

Erg. I worry about this. Generally speaking if a player is injury proned in college, it is only magnified in the pro's with the more violent hitting, the longer seasons, etc etc

Let's hope this isn't the case with Murray.
