Demarco was calling out our plays from the sideline

Karma is going to follow DeMarco. Trust me, his is coming. In two years, no one will be talking about him.

Why is that subject to karma? Every team does this. That's why teams pick up guys cut from the teams they're about to play.

It's not DeMarco's fault. It's Garrett's for not having sense enough to know that a guy who spent several years in your system and knows your plays might actually use that knowledge to help his new team.

Duh!

I wonder why it didn't work then?

It's probably much harder when Romo doesn't snap the ball until 1 second on the play clock after changing the play at the line.

I can't blame Murray but I am disappointed in a way also.

Demarco was calling out our plays from the sideline :(

Defense knew what was coming and still gave up 27 points and 300 yards to noodle arm?

It didn't exactly help. They still put up 27 points...I don't care enough to get mad about this. It's what former teammates are supposed to do. And if we grabbed somebody off the TB practice squad tomorrow, I'd expect him to give up ALL the goods about the Bucs game plan.
I'm not mad. Just sad.

Classless?

Why?

If we pilfered a star player from a division rival and he may have helped us win a game, you would be putting him in the Ring of Honor.

I am just having a Eagles hating week if you can tell. I hate everything about that team and the blowhard comments this week.

Non-story IMO.

If it helped, it helped to a low degree. A poorly designed offense with average to poor QBing still was effective.

It's always funny how this offense is called poorly defined despite it being one of the best offenses year after year since JG has been involved.

But newhen has Alexander let facts get in the way of a good rant eh?

When the wheels fall off when Romo is out, it kind of proves my point. It is not sustainable without him.

Anything else?

So he called out the plays and dallas scored 27 points. Philly d must be atrocious if that was what it looks like when information helps them.

True, but screw him anyways. He's an Eagle so I'm sorry I just can't get behind him. It's a business, but not for me. The NFL never paid me a dime. For me it's personal. Immature, irrational, hypocritical, sure am. But when you've got the start on your helmet we're boys, when you swap it out for feathers....well you can go to hell.

Well yeah. Would love to hear you provide empirical evidence to our offense's poor design.

Or does consistently being one of the best statistically over the years an accident?

If you want to make a declarative statement... Please provide evidence.

What's it say when you leave a team for its rival? He was given a fair offer and still went to the eagles. He chose the almighty dollar over everything. He had a better chance at a ring with the Cowboys because he fit the scheme better here. He didn't think about endorsements and everything else that comes with being a SB champ in Dallas. The only reason he was offered that amount is because chip wanted him away from Dallas. Loyalty. It's a powerful word that should mean more than it does. It would be different if Jerry lowballed him.

Are you serious? The mentality some of you guys have is just crazy. What do you mean he was given a fair offer? Fair to who? You? This was his last chance at a big pay day and he earned it for what he did last year. The Eagles offered him a lot more money guaranteed and they have an organization that will be in the hunt for a playoff berth every year. He would have been crazy to turn down that offer that Philly gave him.

Matt Cassel threw for 299 yards. Dez had 104 yards. Cole Beasley had nine grabs for 112.

DeMarco called the Cowboys' routes out just fine; he just couldn't get the Eagles secondary to cover them any better.

I dont know about smart. I never played the game much less was part of the team and i could call out the plays at a pretty reliable rate.

Duh? Actually, you should already expect this from JG because he learning on the job. The real blame lies with Jerry. Duh!
