Nice to see Lawrence finally having the type of game that he did.

Maybe the 11 days off helped him recuperate? He might have been ailing.

Let's also see if this continues vs. other players opposite him in the coming weeks.

That was nice. He got tired of his ears ringing. Hope that continues.

I think people have to remember that last year was essentially a redshirt year for him. I haven't completely hated what I've seen from him. The DE position has changed in terms of duties and skillsets. QB's ge e ball off so quickly so often now that the edge rushers are basically like 3-4 OLB's. They have to rush the passer and then hustle towards where the pass goes. You hope that they get 25% of the passes are long enough where they can make a sack and then they might get a sack on 10% of those passes and you're a Pro-Bowler.

I didn't like how we traded up for him. I'm just hoping we can get a Grant Wistrom type.

DLaw played a great game.
I loved what Marinelli did with moving the DL around, blitzing, stunting. This is what I expected from the beginning. hope it keeps up.

That's not true. He's been very bad against the run and setting the edge on the outside.

No he hasn't. He's probably been the best player on the DL this year. Him on tape looks a lot different than him during the games. He's also a RDE trying to learn to be a LDE. He doesn't deserve near the criticism he's been getting on here.

I have watched him get pushed inside again and again, losing contain, and allowing RB to get outside on the right. I want my strong side DE stopping the run first before I worry about pass rushing
