The voting was a pre-planned class to exclude ANY 1ST BALLOT MEMBERS.......no way in hell this was done independently

3) And where were the first-timers?
You can't help but notice, but there are no first-ballot Hall of Famers in the Class of 2022. Not a single one, for the first time since the Class of 2012. I really do believe the voters should be a bit more generous when it comes to determining who deserves first-ballot status. Setting Hester aside, fellow 2022 finalist DeMarcus Ware was also plenty worthy. Oh well; on to next year.

The fact that Leroy Butler got in over Darren Woodson is a joke..or John Lynch last year..Woodson was better than both

The latter portion of Woodson's career was essentially wasted playing on terrible teams surrounded by CFL level players. That definitely hurt him unfortunately.

The only fair comparison might be the Pro Bowl selections, but the different positions play a role in that as well since there are only so many players taken at each position, as does popularity, so it's hard to judge off that. However, I would say that four Pro Bowls shows that Young wasn't considered to be as dominant at his position near as long as Ware was.

But then that’s an argument of pro bowls vs longevity. While he wasn’t making as many pro bowls, 90 sacks for a DT is arguably more impressive than 130 for a 3-4 pass rush specialist.

How about Steve Atwater vs Darren Woodson. Atwater made almost twice as many pro bowls, he the was the dominant safety for far longer. But then you could say Woodson’s pro bowl selections abruptly ended when Dawkins and Lynch entered the NFC.

Could you not say the same for Bryant with Warren Sapp and La’Roi Glover? Bryant Young had a 5.5, 2 6.0, a 6.5, an 8.0, and TWO 9.5 sack seasons that weren’t pro bowls… as a DT. That’s amazing in itself.

The NFL Hall of Fame becomes a bigger joke every season.

Ware had 158 sacks, if he isn't a first-ballot HOFer then pretty much no one is.

I thought Ware a clear first round HOFers. Guess I was wrong.

Took Kevin Greene 17 years to get into the HOF and he had 160 sacks.

Still don't think there is an anti Dallas(Jones family) undertone within the league office and the Hall? How many times can these things occur before you see a CLEAR trend in behavior that confirms what we think?Actions speak very loud. We see it with the refs as well concerning Dallas. Coincidence? In my judgement, Ware was majorly slighted. You decide.

Richard Seymour and Bryant Young weren’t better just insane !!!! Sorry for typo on headline

They weren’t but it took several years for them to make the HOF. DWare will get in but I kind of figured he wouldn’t get in on the first ballot. The big knock on him was he didn’t have a lot of impact sacks. Even Cowboys fans accused him of having a lot of empty sacks.

Why would this surprise anyone, a Dallas LB six-time Pro Bowler and was named First Team All-Pro in five consecutive seasons from 1966-1970. Sports Illustrated selected him as a member of the 1960s All-Decade Team, and he was named Most Valuable Player of a Super Bowl.and has a SB ring and he still isn't in. It's all politics and bias as I have said before it's a joke at this point the HOF has become a participation trophy and all teams must get a few each year, what a joke.

This is crazy. If Demarcus Ware isn't a first ballot hall of Famer who the heck is? The guy has amazing stats, is and was a good person on and off the field, is a good teammate and leader and even without the ring should be. But, then went and got a ring. Really silly.

this would be like leaving Aikman off the hall ballot on his first try. INSANITY!!!!! I agree with u. Its ALL RIGGED. Is there really any further question about their being an anti Dallas(Jones) sentiment? Facts are nasty things that NEVER EVER LIE. Ware was done wrong. SHAME. Walls, and Ware been screwed, and this stinks like what they did 2 Drew Pearson. See the trend?
