DeMarcus Ware on Pace to Break All-time Sack Record

Stop asking so much from the guy. Fact of the matter is, he is going to be a 10 sack a year guy from now on. He will get double and tripled team every game after this season and somebody else will have to step up. In any sport you cant be a one trick pony. Look at Lebron James. If Ware doesnt have somebody to compliment him then hes in trouble.

He was already double and triple teamed this year and still got 20 sacks. Ware may have been a one trick pony his rookie season, but he's gotten a lot better since then, hence the increase in sack production. I think he has a back to back 20-sack season this year.

Bruce Smith may own the record, but Reggie White is the standard to shoot for and I think Ware is behind Reggie's pace. Record or not, he's going to be a great one.

Much like Emmitt's rushing record, the hardest part isn't peak production (Ware already has more sacks in one season than Smith ever did and has nine more sacks after four seasons than Smith did), it's being productive for a long, long time.

And that is why I'm waiting for this coming season!
