It's probably the cut of that shirt, but you're right. I thought he looked more than 7 pounds bigger, too.

If nothing else, it doesn't appear that the shoulder is getting in the way of the work he's been doing.

I am sure Spencer is in the 260+ area himself.

Spencer has been playing around 260 the past few years as an OLB.

Given that he is moving to SDE I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play in the 265-270 pound range now that he doesn't have coverage responsibility.

I think Ware used to play around 250-255. It'll be interesting to see what he looks like in the 260-5 area. I suspect it will give him some more power to help him with bullrush and to fight through the OTs outside shoulder a bit better on the edge rushes.

The guy I worry most about is Rat. His legs were just giving him heck all last year and then he got the hernia. I just worry that his body got shot from 5 years playing NT like 90% of the snaps.

Having surgery will put 7lbs on you as you can't workout.

I cannot wait to see Ware and Spenc rush the passer every down.

If Ware, Spenc, and Rat can give us 14 total games, we will have a good year.
