Honestly I don't care what title his position is called. What I believe most of us would prefer is Ware and whoever lines up on the other side to be rushing more than they are playing coverage on a TE or a WR. Just because Ware has the speed to cover does not mean I want him to have a diet of coverage. I believe most would agree that Ware was in coverage far too often instead of just going after the QB.

This is pathetic.

Doesn't this remind you of elementary school when one dorky kid would call out and fight the only other kid as nerdy as him just so he'd have one person he was above on the pecking order?

I dunno.

It just seems unnecessary, since it was already going down in a thread (which is ok) to make it a poll, as if that resolves something. These terms are interchangable, if you use either one everyone knows what you're talking about. ROLB/WOLB is what the player does, not where the player plays.

LOLB is the guy that stands on the sideline and LOL's at everything (theprophet)

I said right side but I think Ware is the type that you want to flip to the other side from time to time to keep the offense on their heals and keep them guessing.

But he can't possibly be a ROLB if he lines up on the LEFT side.

Sure he can. He could be a (R)olling (O)utside (L)ine (B)acker. :D Rolling from right to left back to right. :laugh2:

I dont think we really started switching him up til later in hte season, but I may be wrong. Personally I would just prefer ROLB because it implies he pass rushes the qb's blindside. Doesn't matter though, seriously no need to argue over semantics.

i agree with everything just said...

Ware is a ROLB that occasionally lines up on the left or a WOLB that occasionally lines up on the strong side.

Is Ware a ROLB or a WOLB?

Calling him a "ROLB" suggest he plays exclusively on the right side. Calling him a "WOLB" suggest he plays both sides (which Ware does).

I know he does play the SOLB spot at times (mainly cuz a TE motions/shifts over), but that doesn't change his distinction, be it ROLB or WOLB. Just like when JuJo lines up out wide, it doesn't mean he's not a RB anymore.

Sorry, man, I put ROLB before I read your stuff. Ware lines up like a DE and like an OLB on either side. I'm slightly confused.
