I appreciate the effort and sacrifice DWARE has given the Cowboys, but if you can't help my team win, you're gone.
the old lion is definitely done.
he was a great one for us though.

I'd like to know how injured he is and the prognosis for being healthy next year. Otherwise trade him. We'e going to have to renegotiate his contract of cut him anyway. If we renegotiate then trade he's free to renegotiate with a new team.
I'm pretty sure he's giving 100% out there. He earned the contract he has so more power to him.
Age and injury have caught up to him, unfortunately. Though I think if they upgraded the interior of the defensive line he'd look a lot better.
The sad thing is I think Ware is really trying out there. He just can't do it anymore. He seems to be giving his all which is all we can ask of him, but if this is the best he can do, it's time to sever ties. And it pains me to say that.
I think it's getting to that point where we do cut him loose. The performance isn't there and it's becoming more obvious with games of high magnitude. In those games you look for the biggest stars and see how they do.
Ware says… Romo says… Witten says… Garret says…
I'm so tired of these "leaders" saying anything. They've done it for years.
I just want to see them actually step up and DO something to help us win when it matters.
Agree, and I thought he actually looked healthier today than in most of the recent games. I think its a combination of age, injuries and the tryout camp players next to him, but I think its mostly about injuries. I do think his contract is reworked down in the offseason though, not a Doug Free **-level cramdown, but definitely a new deal with less money.
Demarcus has always been the epitome of a pro, and probably a future HOFer. It's not his fault the body isn't keeping up anymore.
It's the coaches for not having someone better in that spot than he is playing now.
I believe the near-future of the Dallas Cowboys rests in what happens to Ware.
If Jerry is able to make the HARD decision, you know- the one that's going to make some people gulp: I will have a lot more faith in the old man than I did.
If it's another restructure (there will be no status quo on his contract- that's a given), then it's the same ol' same ol' and there will be no urgency on this team from top to bottom.
I honestly believe that what we do with Ware will be the Figurehead move for the next few years.
A player gives 100% on the field through injury and gets verbally beaten by the fanbase. We have 10 other plays on this defense you should be calling out other than Ware who do not give their 100 percent.
Decline in productivity perhaps, but give the man a break. He has been a sure fire HoF player for us. Focus on the rest of the team who have no passion, thanks fanbase.
No way. The Figurehead move is finding the future QB of this team. That's how the NFL works today. Romois not the answer and apparently has never been.
I didn't know he was active today...Didn't Ware say last week he needed to play better? He has to show up first to play better...the man is a shell of what he once was...
The coaches?? I blame the gm for the stunning lack of depth.
so fedSo Ware says....there is no reason to give up.
Hey Demarcus, I have a better one: Never mind giving up...how about if you SHOW UP?
This guy is stealing $$$ every time he cashes an NFL paycheck these days.

Unless he rebounds he won't make it to Canton.
He had 0 solo tackles, 0 assists, and 0 sacks against a mediocre rookie 4th roun pic offensive tackle who has already given up 8 sacks this season.
