I thought our d was farely solid, but i didnt get to actually watch the game. I cant do much evaluating from what i hear on the radio, but from the sound of things our D was solid. Our offense couldnt move the rock, and gave the cardinals pretty good field position.

All this is to be expected, however, because BP doesn't (or didnt this time at least) prepare for the first pre-season game.

It'll be ok!

No one's saying we looked great.

But most of us have seen enough of the preseason to know that it's just the first preseason game.

Did you expect him to play like LT immediately?

The entire d played ok in the first half. The TD was a fluke.....bad pass by Warner, Davis was shocked, Fitz made a grab that was lucky.....I'm not taking anything away from them......but nine times out of ten that pass is picked, or falls INC. And who pressured Warner into the bad throw? Ware.

Ware made a few nice tackles on Bryant Johnson, and he did cover him one-on-one.

You saw one half of one preseason game....relax.

I can definately empathize with you there. I was excited for the game tonight after a long and exciting off-season. However, tonight reminded me that my expectations were just too high for pre-season. I was just way too excited to finally have dallas cowboys football going on, and didnt really stop to think that it was just the first pre-season game.

In the "old days" we lost almost all our preseason games.

Yes, the mighty teams of the 90s were TERRIBLE in the preseason. I don't remember one winning preseason with our SB teams.

He may be 10.I have to watch myself,the other day I was gettin' madder than wet hen at some guy and found out he was only 16.Hard to tell sometimes,especially when some of the older guys are complete knuckleheads as well.
