First off, I'm thrilled with the W. Defense looked terrific, save for one drive at the end of the half. Total domination after halftime.

But... #94 has 0 sacks after 3 games. He hasn't looked like the same guy as last year, when he would fly off the edge so quick it made OTs' heads spin.

I mentioned this in another thread. Maybe its just me, but what I see is Ware flying off the snap but taking an outside move where a nudge really takes him out of the play. Delhomme wasn't setting up to deep on his drop so often it looked like Ware was way behind him before he started coming in.

I'd like to see Ware develop a move of some kind that'll get him back inside (like Freeney's spin) but again, might hvae just been me.

i hate to say this but did he take something from Ellis and wont perform until he gets assurance that he will be paid. Don't get me wrong D Ware is a beast but it doesn't seem like he has that same fire or someone that deserves 40+ million guaranteed/100 million

I'm getting more convinced that ther has GOT to be something wrong with his legs or something....he just hasn't looked the same all year now....sure, it's only been 3 games, but they weren't doubling down on him like other teams do.

Plus, he only had one tackle and one assist tonight....and they did run his way some and he just missed getting some tackles.

Just not the same guy...yet.

Contract = lower every week. Maybe not, but an off year DOES have ramifications when it comes to contracts....we'll see how it plays out.

I think teams know we do not have any other pass rush threat so they are going 1 on 1 with everyone and helping with 2 or 3 guys to wares side. It doesn't help any when we blitz our guys seem to seek out blockers to hit.

I am VERY worried about Ware. He does look slower and not as agile.

He's not getting his amazingly quick first step and he looks labored all the time. And he had DeAngelo nearly wrapped up inside and Ware tripped over himself. That has never happened before. He was close a few times tonight, but he's just not himself.

There is something wrong.

And please, DWare, my friend, take off the neck roll.

He's getting close and he's often getting double and triple teams because they dont believe Dallas has anyone else who can bother them. If Spencer gets it going and Butler can continue to put some pressure like he did tonight then some of that double and triple team stuff will stop.

Well, it's kinda the opposite.

He's been so freakin' good that when he goes three straight games without a sack, it's only natural to feel like something's wrong.

Where's that lightning-quick first step we're all used to seeing? The one where the OT has virtually no chance at stopping his path to the QB. That was a weekly occurence a season ago, but I don't think I've spotted that once in 2009.

I'm concerned.

Didn't Ware gain some extra weight this offseason? They said that he maintained his quickness but I don't think it did...he looks at step slower...

My opinion, in short? He's pressing.

He needs to settle down, and they'll come.

Serious question guys, do we pay Ware $100 million???

I love Ware, but does his current level of performance warrant a $100 million contract???

I dont know. I would hate to lose Ware, but I just dont know if he is worth $100 million or not. I do not think Ware is dogging it, but he just doesnt look like the same guy for some reason. Maybe he is suffering from post concussion syndrome.

If I am Jerry, I might just let Ware play out this season and then franchise the guy.

You guys need to chill. Ware against Tampa and Ny was getting chipped by the te,fb, or rb for most of the game. Last year only the Eagles did that to him. I said this many times Ware should only get 10 sacks this year and that would be just as good as 20. He has no help on the line and hes coming off a 20 sack year. Bad combination. Look at Peppers who went from 15 sacks to I think 4 two years ago. I kno Freeney went from 15 to about 4 or 5 one year. It happens with elite rushers but he will be back.
