Demarcus Ware

Thurman has had a huge impact on the Cincy D, they are a turnover machine this year and he's one of the major reasons why.

Both have had great seasons but Thurman's is better.

Merriman had a big game today that kids gonna be good........

but Ware is obviously better now and looks to have an incredibly bright future, i love him as you can see, by my sig.

the Cincy D can't stop the run, he's a MLB

stopping the run starts with the DT's, of which Cincy has nobody worth a crap.

I think that Demarcus ware had one of his best outings so far this year. The guy was all over the field, and constantly hurrying the QB. Did anyone see the play where he litterally pushed through the biggest player in the league. he overpowered the lineman on that play and for much of the game. With his quickness and strength.....the Sky is the Limit! I think he is officially the pass rusher we have been waiting for
I predicted before the game Ware would come up big but his game seems to be getting better after it ended.

Ware gots DROY, the media love him
Seriously....could they have slurped him any more during the broadcast? It was like there was no one else on defense, LOL.

Quote-"Marcel Shipp runs to the right, and trips over his own feet in the open field. See - that was cause by Ware tying his shoelaces."

I love my boy Ware, but that duo was unreal with all teh love they were giving him. I'll take it, though. Kid's gonna be dominant.

Watch how often Ware is doubled, if it's a 5 step pass play you can bet he's gonna get the attention of two players.

How many strongside linebackers in the 4-3 do you hear about everyday?

He wasn't getting doubled at all today. What are you talking about?

Thurman's having a good season and had 2 INTs today, but I think Ware is having as big an impact at least. If Ware can finish the year with 8-10 sacks, he'll get it.

if it was a 5 step drop or more he gets doubled, no one gets doubled on 3 step drops

Ware reminds me so much of Charles Haley, it's scary. Haley was the same way in that he would have only 8-10 sacks in a season, but have something like a thousand QB pressures. I don't know how many ints. & sacks by teammates he was responsible for, but I'm sure it was plenty. Because of his strength & quickness, he could impact the run just as much as the pass.

Ware is the same way & he is only going to get better. He may not look that big, but he has huge thighs & hips, which are really your source of power. Plus, he already bench presses in the mid 400s. Ya gotta love the kid.

I take that back DT's will get doubled on 3 step drops

He still has some thing to learn but it is obvious the game is slowing down for him. DROY is his to lose IMHO.

Ware was chipped by the running back a few times to slow him down for BIG Leonard.
As for DROY . I could care less if he gets it .I just want him to get the Superbowl MVP..
Let a team that will be minus .500 have that award.

I thought Ware played well ,but he is leaving a whole lot of talent untapped.
He will get there by years end then he will be scary good.

ABSOLUTELY! a lot of good pass rushers in the league can do ONLY that...passrush. They just run up the field every play looking for the sack. I saw Freeney do that the entire game against the Rams. Didn't see him play any run. I haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement like that overall though.
Besides bullrushing a guy that outweighs him by at least 100 pounds, and the one forcing the INT, the D-Ware play that stands out to me is the one in the second half where he stood his man up and pushed him straight back into the backfield about 1 yard and a half completely cutting off the RB from running outside, this allowed Brady James to come flying in and SMACK the RB BIGTIME for a 2 yard loss.
Kid is becoming a complete player in a big way. Right now I like him more than the draft picks I wanted at the time: BMW & DJ.

yeah I agree, that one was a great play, it stood out to me too... :star:

he had 8 or more tackles today. Don't think he's not playing well just cuz you haven't heard his name. He hasn't made the BIG plays he did at UT but he's leading the Chiefs in tackles with 44, 1 sack, and 1 FF.
