DeMarvion Overshown joins 'GMFB' to share recovery progress, expectations for next season

It's impossible but rare for a player to return to form from his type of injury. I think one key for him is patience.........don't rush the process.

NFL players who returned from devastating injuries

Willis McGahee
McGahee began his NFL career injured. Though his career ran through the 2013 season, his most memorable moment may still be the frightening Fiesta Bowl injury. He tore the ACL, MCL and PCL in his left leg in his final college game and could not play during the 2003 NFL season -- his rookie year. But McGahee showed enough at Miami to convince the Bills to draft him 23rd overall -- higher than ex-Hurricane mates Clinton Portis or Frank Gore -- knowing he needed extensive rehab. Debuting in 2004, McGahee notched the first of his four 1,000-yard seasons and played long enough to retire as a top-40 all-time rusher.

Gonna need to have him on a pitch count this year when he does come back. Maybe next year he can be full go

Overshown's injury was the single, absolute worst thing about last season.
Then the next was Jerry(all in nonsense), then Fat Mike, then all the injuries across the board. Lastly , Daks injury. We never had a chance. Jerry was never bringing back MM and that staff. He was pissed off and he refused to fire someone when they had a year remaining on the deal. Very dumb actually. He helped hinder the team by him being petty like this.

His injury was one of the worst you can get. I love the guy; he is a REAL PLAYER.
But counting on him to be all the way back this year is lunacy; and sad thing is he might never make it all the way back
If he heals and rehabs like he plays...don't count him out. Kids got some kinda special overdrive.

For some reason I just cannot stand to watch GMFB. The show just makes me cringe.

But I am happy to see Overshown show so much confidence in his rehab and ability on the field. I really hope he comes back 100% because he seems like the guy who deserves it.
I hope he comes back 100%, but plays at about 88-92%...for his own sake!

Plays too reckless and needs to work on lower body strength. He'll probably have a career similar to Snake Lee :(
