I like how he kept the Giants out of the endzone and then comes back and causes a fumble on the 2nd half kickoff. I think he also put Naibors and Singleterry out.

Overshown is a difference maker at the position. Those open field tackles are the types of plays that are often overlooked by fans but make the difference in the outcomes of the games.

We haven’t had an LB make plays like that in a long time.

If the entire team played as hard as he did against the Giants we would be terrifying. He was awesome. There were a few others that looked foolish out there in comparison.

Parsons is always thinking he can become DPOY by his legend alone.
Based on his production through the last 5 games -- $10 mil a year if only for being double teamed and thus gives others a chance for the sack or hurries.

Yes, he is not worth Garrett money. He should hope for quail prices.

Unlike some other Cowboys, he's not afraid to hit and tackle hard.

Oh the last two games were horrible for Overshown. I'm yet to do any rewatching of the game to target a specific player, but he looked so much better in the run game, and I suspect its not just a weak opponent thing either. I saw him slow to react in the run game a few times, but he had multiple plays where he was able to actually shed blocks, which honestly I didnt even think he was capable of doing after the last couple weeks.

Overshown was on the field for 46 defensive snaps vs B’more but he was usually getting washed out due to horrible gap/zone integrity of D-line.

(In bold^^^): Totally agree! Jerry would be wise to allow DeMarvion Overshown to change jersey numbers from #13 to #0 after this season ends. It would definitely help boost jersey and marketing sales.

Since this is practically his Rookie season, we'll see growing pains but probably signs of good things to come. Unlike some of his teammates, he actually looks like he wants to play.
