LOL @ you calling this "scouting".

Nice edit by the way.

no, this isn't scouting, but WR is my favorite position to scout

you can't really scout a Wr's route running ability from highlight films, but you can glean their on-field speed, and how they catch the football from them

Not a huge Thomas fan. GT was so run heavy they had very few weapons in the passing game. There was really no one else to look to and when GT was forced to pass he was shut down too often. Most of his big plays came when the GT offensive run game was controlling the defense and a pass play was more of a surprise then part of the offense.

I do have some interest in Riley Cooper and think he would offer great value in the 4th. Definitely a guy I have my eye on.

Tough as nails and again, another player that offers good value in the right round but I have seen 2nd round grades on him and I just think that's too high.

that was before the influx of Juniors

Scott Wright has him in his 8th among WRs, so I guess that's still a 2nd round grade (WRs go fast in the 2nd round)

probably 3rd

the dude has skills, he's not just big, he's pretty quick too

Kinda jumping over the fact that he was dominant with an option QB arent you?

Who is the most explosive punt returner? Take that one in the 4th.

Everyone knows about LaFell, but that Thomas (and even Briscoe, who I have not seen play before) is an intriguing playmaker. Cannot have enough playmakers.

Just another reason I have issues with him. Again, his big plays came not because he runs great routes or has blazing speed or was able to consistently beat his man but because any time GT threw the ball it was almost a gimmick play. When they forced to pass more often then not he was a non factor.

it's not a gimmick play

it's the triple option

the QB either can run, toss, or pass the football

I meant among your favorite WRs. Arenas does not impress me much as a CB.

there aren't very many explosive PRs among the WRs

maybe Jacoby Ford

Gilyard is a jitter-bug on returns

everyone's boy McCluster doesn't have much experience there, could be a very good KR, although is small for that position

ummm....

When 99 out of 100 plays you run the ball, that 1 time is a gimmick.
