The only positive to Mcclains suspension is the timing and we have all camp to get a new starter acclimated. There isnt much left in free agency, but what about bringing in Demeco Ryans for a look? Hard to judge him seeing him in a dysfunctional system like the Eagles the last two seasons, but could be a solid addition.

He has been done since he left Houston. He sucks against the run and is only somewhat serviceable against the pass. He also has an injury history. Having said that.......he would fit right in :omg:

Eagles play a 3-4. He wasn't a good fit he is a 4-3 lb. I honestly would be interested in him

Donald Butler (28)....4 years younger.

Curtis Lofton (30)....2 down run plugger

Brandon Spikes (29)....2 down run plugger

Darryl Washington....Since we like to collect turds.;)

DJ Williams...old...but a goodie.

Stephen Tulloch.....

Terrence Plummer....

Considering we play nickle D 60% of the time anyway...I think this loss is being blown out of proportion.

I'm not worried. I think we will find a guy during cut downs...and not miss a beat.

Stephen Tulloch I believe is still on the Lions roster. For some reason they won't let him go.

We have a Pro Bowl MLB already on the roster..

his name is Lee.

Stop all the crying and move him back.

Then get another outside like Durant and pray like heck Smith gets well.

mcclain has been more name than production. his first few games he came on strong and i thought we'd scored big time. he then later faded and started doing the very things he was likely cut for to begin with.

put me in the camp of - since he doesn't cost a roster spot, he'll sit. at game 11 if lee, hitchens, and company are banged up and we can't buy a vowel or a LB, we'll worry about it then. if we're looking good, he's gone.

it's business, this emotional game.

Any MLB who has a poor work ethic, is lazy, refuses to stay in shape, continually gets suspended for pot, doesn't show up for OTAs and generally doesn't care about anything but himself, truly both needs and deserves to be cut.

It's well past time for some semblance of discipline to become a recognizable part of the Dallas Cowboys' agenda. This has been allowed to persist for decades now -- past time for a change.

Unfortunately, it's a doggone shame that Jerry can't be fired as this team's GM as well for being a catalyst of chaos, incompetence and a prime enabler of his team's absence of discipline.

It is not a coincidence he finished the whole year being shielded from traffic on the weakside.

But hey, just quit crying and put him back there again to get injured, right?

nah - keep him where he's not helping so he doesn't. BRILLIANT!

How is he not helping playing WLB? Played a full season and made a successful transition, including a Pro Bowl.

But put him where he has shown an inability to make it through a 16 game season. BRILLIANT!

He's a shell of his former self and he's at a big disadvantage if teams want to throw over the middle while he is on the field.

But wasn't McClain one of the LBs on the field in the nickel with Lee?
