After Wade and Bill I think Dennis Green would be the natural evolution. Jerry is not going to hire a "Jimmy" like coach in fact a "Jimmy" like coach will never coach for Jerry. Denny Green has enough skins on the wall to command respect from the players and Jerry. Green is a great offensive mind who will help in the growth of garrett. As head coach Denny green will bring his Bill Walsh flavor that is sorely missed in the locker room "walk softly but carry an armored tank division". Denny would be the perfect compliment to the GM because b4 anything Green is a football coach and would never allow the players to forget who is the coach. This is where Wade has failed I don't see how any player can look at Wade with the same respect they have for coaches who made them. Denny Green has always been a talent evaluator and would help Jerry to reshape this roster. A key move BILL made that Jerry would never do was the Columbo move, Denny Green is that type of player evaluator! Denny Greens love for coaching is obvious as his passion for the game this is what the Cowboys need. Wade is a guy who has been around football because he wanted to be close to his dad...if Bum Phillips was an insurance agent Wade would be the VP of Mutual of Omaha. Now don't get me wrong Denny Green is not the long term answer I'm not sure if he wants to coach but if he does and if anyone can turn this thing around RIGHT NOW! Its Denny Green! The Cowboys have no other viable options in the fold unlike with the Rams n 9ers. So if Jerry has to make a change bcause Wade has lost the team in his eyes Denny Greens fire and will to win may change the lifeless Boys! I've never been a big Green fan but I think he could find a role between Jerry n the players that many well respected coaches would not even consider. Denny will do what Wade will not, Green will tell Jerry who sucks and who doesn't. Denny will sit Brad (for the second time) if he has a better option @ QB and not just follow the depth chart the GM made up in April! Speakin of April this Texas team has an awesome passing attack that the Cowboys should take notes on players and scheme!
