thats what happens when you double covered

The Broncos are employing Eddie Royal as strictly an outside wideout, but focusing on over-the-middle drag patterns in the passing game. Whereas Mike Shanahan used Royal as a slot receiver/flanker running underneath patterns and creating space with outstanding route running, the new staff is asking him to be a deep threat. Royal is essentially now a decoy, with most of the throws going to the middle of the field and to running backs.

I assumed you were a Cowboys fan. Not a Donkey fan. The "we" was confusing. Didn't know what you were trying to say.

He's just another troll we won't see again after this weekend.

Total rushing yards per game:

Dallas: 193.7 (6.8 yards per carry)
Denver: 158.7 (4.7 yards per carry)

So Dallas is 22% higher than Denver in total yards, but a full 2 yards per carry better. Yeah, I guess that's "right behind" us...
and for some reason that run game doesn't scare me at all. I think its overrated

actually every wide-out in our offense can play every position.

you missed kris kuper, brandon stokley, jabar gaffney and andre goodman they to are very talented

jabbar gaffney and stokley are good players but not potentially Pro Bowl good...

you're right about Goodman though...and Kuper...

quite franky, Prater has been good for us too (aside from the crosswind fgs missed)...

thats not alot of yards, besides we will put some yards up this weekend

Probably 235 total offense is my guess.

You haven't even remotely seen a defense like ours yet. Our running game has gashed the best defensive line in football, then repeated the performance to silence the critics.

At the same time, you played the Raiders and Cleveland. :D

You know how it goes....we'll beat the Broncos and they'll lose four straight and everyone will say we still haven't played anyone.

judging from your post, you don't seem to know much about the Broncos...

if you think the Broncos have avg backs you're in for a real surprose come Sunday...we have the #1 RB in the draft in Knowshon Moreno and Buckhalter is averaging 8ypc...heck even Peyton Hillis is a grown man...

you also failed to mention our greatest strength, the offensive line...it's as good as it gets...Ryan Clady is making his bid as a top 5 player in the NFL...

you guys like dissing Orton, but he has a higher passer rating than Romo...

our talent level is extremely underestimated...Ryan Clady,Brandon Marshall, Champ Bailey, DJ Williams, Elvis Dumervil, Eddie Royal, Ryan Harris, Casey Weigman, Knowshon Moreno, Brian Dawkins, Vonnie Holliday are all Pro Bowl calibur players...

Judging from your post, I wonder how much you know about the Broncos.

Knowshown Moreno is a rookie with two games and 94 yards to his entire NFL career. The suggestion that he is "Pro Bowl calibur" is patently absurd at this point.

Vonnie Holliday is 33 years old, and has yet to sniff a Pro Bowl. After an impressive rookie season, he's been a career journeyman -- Green Bay, Miami, and Kansas City.

Ryan Harris is a decent player, but has yet to make a Pro Bowl.

The Eagles released Brian Dawkins for good reason; he's an aging player in decline.

Eddie Royal is an excellent number two receiver.

Ryan Clady, Brandon Marshall, Champ Bailey, and Casey Wiegmann are all pro bowlers, and excellent players. No questions there.

And Kyle Orton's career speaks for itself. Romo has faults, but there isn't a competent GM in the league who would take Orton over Romo.

Knock, knock...

Who's there?

A five game losing streak for Denver!

Knock, knock...

Who's there?
The undefeated Broncos! :lmao2:

Knock, knock...

Who's there?

The 0-3 Titans. Oh, not as funny as Denver being 3-0 but more the ironic situation.

An interesting matchup.

Before the season started, I assumed that Denver and KC were sure wins.

But.....we've struggled to find an identity on offense and defense.

I think our defense may start to come around. We began the year with six new starters. It looks like we might be gelling.

I'm not sure if we're a smashmouth team yet. I'm encouraged by our run game. Eventually, teams will start putting an eight man in the box. Our WRs will have to begin winning one-on-one battles regularly.

I think this will be a good game. I think we may have trouble matching up with Denver's WRs. I can see them beating our corners for consistent 10-12 yard gains.

On the other hand, I don't think they have an answer for Witten. I'm also not sold on their pass rush.

yeah they didnt want to pay dawkins, eddie as a rookie had the second most catches for a rookie in NFL history, and moreno has like 140 yards. oh did I mention he missed all of training camp with a injury.
