I never like to predict a loss for the Cowboys no matter what the situation, but I will predict a resounding victory for my fantasy football team that has Manning, Welker and Thomas on it.

Peyton will either have to get injured early in the game or have the off game of his life for the Cowboys to have a chance. The conservative Romo will have to take a week off and sling it around to try to keep up. Not gonna happen

There is the catch though. There are two ways to approach this game:

1. Try to outscore them. This is not going to happen, so on to two.

2. Keep their defense on the field for as long as possible. That will take long, sustained drives with a lot of run plays. As history suggests, that may not happen either.

There has to be some radical, new approach to this game throwing out all of the previous game-plans. Corners are going to have to play man while the front def line goes after Manning with a lot of blitzing. I will pray that the defense can hold them in the mid to high 20's and rely on this offense to put up 30+. Denver has some serious weapons and the only way to slow them down is get to Peyton fast. Another game of dinks and dunks with 15 carries will not work next Sunday.

The cowboys defense is no longer playing on emotion and "Can do" ethic. It is now playing like the mere mortals and journeymens they are. Tony, for some reason, continues to ration thows to Dez. Murray is up and down.
