Yes, my dream right now is Hunter or Graham.

Mt luck one of them slides to Dallas and our horrible GM takes Jeanty.
Hunter, Graham, Carter, TMac then you really have a discussion, agree not wise to take Jeanty, but he really would help our poor OL. Maybe you take the next DT instead

I'd throw Will Johnson in that conversation too.

After that... shoot. I don't like any of the big names right now. Will Campbell looks like a guard to me. Kelvin Banks is an Evan Neal-ish lunging power tackle, and I think he's got major bust potential. Mykel Williams doesn't have the production of a top 10 pick and also has major bust potential that you rarely face that early. It's just not a good year to be picking high in the draft.

Jalon Walker maybe?

We aren't getting either if we get to 7 wins. Even 6 might be pushing it. This isn't a deep draft. There are only a few blue chip prospects and they will go in the first 5 picks. Only Sanders and Cam Ward might go in the top 10 among QBs. Its a weak QB draft. So thats going to push DTs up draft boards.

If we miss out of the top 5 prospects, we are looking at the next group of DT's, some Edges and Jeanty. Jeanty is probably the best out of that group, but do they take a 1st rd rb again, especially in a deep class, do you take a lesser player due to a more priority position? Let's hope we don't have to decide, still a lot of football left to shake things out.

Bluntly speaking Jeanty will go before our pick so that is not in the conversation, and there is only one top Edge rusher so he almost certainly will be gone as well. Sadly I see Graham also being gone, the best DT in the draft. IF we end up 12th or so it might be in our best interest to look to trade down.

Still believe the next dt’s will still be in play. We have a whole offseason to play out, also still have a few games left to move up.

During that laugher called the Longhorns-Bulldog game, this beast, this dynamo kept harassing and intercepting and sacking Ewers of Texas.

Walker is a junior. 245 lbs. 6-2 LB

Wish we dreamed big such as walker.
I really hope he's there in RD2

Funny I watched both players in college and VIta in the pros and you are completely blind to see how similar they are
best example this year on Walker was in the Alabama game where I watched him punish the entire center of Alabamas O line. Brutal agressiveness
Sorry buddy, but the only thing those two have in common is game wrecking ability. But how they do it is completely different. They are no where near the same type of player.
This is a bad example, but basically what you're saying is that Payton Manning and Mike Vic are the same players because they both win games as a QB. But in reality, they are nothing alike and win games in completely different ways.

Idk, I still have Grant in the late 1st. I think he is a pure 1T. Dalvin Tomlinson , prime Linval Joseph type
Take it what is is worth, but listened to Voch/Broaddus podcast and they both have Grant ahead of Harmon. They also believe he has the ability to play both.

100% on Johnson. He’s on the same level as Hunter as a CB Hunter is just propped up more due to the flex.

I’m probably trying to trade back if that whole list is wiped. I don’t know what to think of Walker.

I know exactly what longer arms means which is why Walker and Vea are not the same type of player. Walker is not a mauler in the way that Vea is, whatever that is supposed to mean. He wins with reach and athleticism, Vea wins, and always has, with pure power. Saying Chris Jones and Vita Vea are the same player is dumb, and Jones is the prototype for walker.

I'm sorry you haven't yet graduated Football 101 to understand the nuance. Let me know when you enter 2024.
highlighting longer arms as support that he's stronger and heavier is certainly a take lol

Is Shemar Stewart a name to watch? Seems to have position flex and is rising with the so called experts.
