That what I am saying, they might chose the flashy offensive player over the boring trench player. This is the year, they almost "have to" draft a DT. The good ones come off the board in the hurry, the others take long, developmental time. Sickening when you see a player like McNeil finally developed and we took Golston, Osa in that same range.
Your boy Travis Jones has been pretty solid too.

But to show how much they impact Ws and Ls ..........what have the Jets done since he was drafted. I'm not bashing his impact or talent, just the position itself is more of a role player than impact.

Well the problem with that is that is one move that worked out for them VS so many that crippled them. No one drafted after him would have had a bigger impact than he did

Would you take Graham over Hunter at 2nd or 3rd overall???

As flashy and exciting as Travis Hunter is, he will NOT be an ALL-PRO WR AND CB in the NFL, maybe one but not both. I know he's talked about wanting to play both positions full-time in the pros but he has no idea the NFL is a different monster. There's a reason why it's never been done. IF I was him, I'd play WRs full-time and CB ( nickel ) part-time.

Id play him at CB. He could/should be a HOF caliber CB, or a #2 caliber WR. If you are picking him where he should go to be a WR, you are wasting assets. He wont be that good of a WR. He is 100% a CB in the NFL

This is probably an issue many fans will agree and disagree and this is one. From what I have seen I think he can play at an ALL-PRO level at either position full time but NOT both.

The top 8 players right now look pretty solid.
We see players fly up the board every year. A player like Horn for example went in the top 10 when most had him as a late 1st rounder at the beginning of the offseason.

I think Hunter is the only flash as high as they will likely pick. And honestly he would be a home run pick.

Jeanty if they are outside the top 5.

Both are legit candidates. Outside those two possibilities, I think it would most likely be edge, DT or OT.
I cannot rule out Jeanty just yet as many are thinking generational talent and they did draft Zeke in that range. WE know this team values Egde, OL and receiver very high and haven't taken a DT since the Jimmy days.

So many issues.....this is why I want Belichick. He can streamline this team, especially the D. Get rid of a lot of dead weight and fat....
I have been saying that for over a month. He remains the best DC in the league and would fix the D in a hurry. He also values a strong running game which is what the offense really lacks.

I don't see the top 8 collapsing.

I would say Graham because he has been more consistent throughout his college career. I could see Jerry wanting walker based on pass rushing potential
