Depth Chart As of March 15

Good perspective in the OP. This season could get ugly. That roster is an injury or two away from really ugly.

I hope Dallas can find a way to trade down a little bit in round one. There are just so many holes in this roster.

I'm not sure where my thread I started on Cooper rush went but if somebody moved it or combined it with a member who I have on ignore I will never be able to see it so I'm not sure why we do this there's always been more than one subject matter started by different people didn't seem to be a problem to me..

But I'll put it here looks like we're losing Cooper rush to the Ravens it's kind of crazy that the Ravens would choose this type of quarterback they come in place of a mobile quarterback in a run first offense but you been here a really long time I don't think he's gonna be hard to replace but I bet we get a bunch of blowback how we just became a worst team without him I like the guy but I think we need to go younger and more of a developmental guy that we can actually turn into a starter someday they need to start bringing those dudes on this team not have a progress stopper as a backup.

Don't get me wrong I like Cooper rush and I wish him well but it looks like he's gone.

FA may be over for now, except a few low level signings.
Right now there are 73 players on the roster.

There are 8 FA's of their own left to sign here or somewhere else. With what they did so far, I doubt any of those will be brought back. Except possibly Lance and Oruwariye, depending his recovery from his injury.

Figure 9 draft picks. I think that is where we are for now. So at 82 players. Now some will be released most likely near or after the draft. Some players on reserve / futures contracts could be released, or a few vet players if replaced in the draft. But do not expect too many of them to go.

For now that leaves 8 players, most likely UDFA's.

dallas needs to get better at 3 or 4 starting spots on offense AND defense to contend, plus another 2 or 3 rotational spots on each side of the ball. that isn’t happening this year.

there's five months left before Game 1 so we're not playing a game tomorrow we're not even playing a preseason game until what August we're so far away from needing to know who's on the roster and what the depth are because here's what's going to change after training camp 30 players are going to be cut we're not even done building the training camp roster and people are already worried about depth charts.

There is five months left for 31 other teams before game 1. I predict they’ll all be trying to upgrade their rosters, as well.

Appreciated, I’ve done a few draft simulations and this will inform the rest of them.

Only way the team has a chance a ship is several past disappointments like Mazi, Schoon, and Guyton to play to their draft status. Plus we need a great draft.

Don't hold your breath. Floor is better but I don't see pay dirt even with a great draft bringing in 2+ starters year 1. Too many holes on the lines.
