Carr has had one good season in 2015, a borderline elite season in 2016, and his rookie season wasn't bad. There's nothing stopping him from becoming an elite QB.
2018 Raiders 0-3. Carr is so elite the Raiders are talking Kaepernick.:lmao2:

This!

Not trying to start an argument. Carr got that huge payday and has sucked it up ever since. Hopefully our Dak won't get one of those big pay days. The old veterans such as Brees & Rodgers are all that's left from the so called "elite" category IMO. Enjoy the game. Go Cowboys!

I said his 2016 season was “borderline elite”, did I not? And it was statistically. So what are you saying?
It was elite, nothing borderline about it. And his season before that was really good, too. And he had a very nice rookie season prior to those two. His trajectory was soaring. No one could see the seeming decline in his play, even after the broken leg, that he is going through now. It was nearly universally accepted the Raiders had a future top 5-7 QB on their hands.

As someone who likes football, and elite talent, it sucks to see his regression. But, he's only 27, maybe he can fix himself, and get back to where he was. It doesn't help that he's playing for dysfunction. The Raiders, from his rookie year to that amazing 2016 of his, looked like they were stabilizing their ship, then it all went down with Carr's broken leg. Del Rio was no longer their savior, either. And now they're back to being lolRaiders.

Is what it is.

With any other franchise he would not.

He will get a second contract in Dallas.

He should get a second contract with Dallas, as backup.

I think Brady is ok too. :)
