Welcome back Bland, unfortunately this is not Dan Quinns defense so big play opportunities may not be as plentiful as last year.

To compound matters CB Trevon Diggs is batlling a calf injury ... i'd expect him to sit it out too.. why aggravate to a far more serious injury ?

The only reason he was activated is because his 21 day practice window was closing, if they didn't activate him he'd be lost for the year.

So, he's activated but he's not going to play.

Not that it matters, per the chart below Dallas even just making the playoffs is extremely doubtful. Might as well play every rookie we have and winnow out the chaff...
