Here's what I would love to happen: Cowboys trade back to 8 or 9,picking up another 2nd round pick and drafting Henry with the 1st pick. Everything I'm reading on this kid is making me want him behind our o line more and more.

I wouldn't mind taking Henry, but definitely not with the first pick. Unless you're referring to our first pick in the 2nd round.

We just need a damn RB!

You think Elliott is dropping to the second?
I'd love that to happen, but Elliott isn't getting out of the top 15 picks.

No, the original poster said he would like to take Henry with our first round pick if we traded back a little bit.

So that's why I was saying if we're going to take a RB in the 1st, it better be Elliott.

I thought he was saying the 1st of the two 2nd round picks. Maybe he can clarify.

But if he's talking about our 1st round pick, that would be an HUMONGOUS reach.

I was hoping Henry would be there in the second, but after his impressive combine, I'm thinking someone will snag him late in the first.

Just scroll up a little bit and he answered that question. He doesn't think Henry will be available in the 2nd, so he definitely meant getting him in the 1st. You're right, I'd be pissed if we did that!

Henry is nothing more than the latest Bama back to look good at the combine, excel in college, and eventually be nothing more than a rotational back. History dictates this.

I have an idea that will satisfy both Elliott and Henry fans
Draft Elliott at 4 and Henry at 34 and run the I-formation.
Elliott at tailback and Henry at fullback. :)

I don't care how big and fast he is...I don't see using #34 on a RB with no wiggle moves.
I want another guy like Emmitt, who fast or not, has great balance and makes guys in the secondary miss. How many 40, 50, 60 yard TD runs would Emmitt have had as many times as we've sprung backs into the secondary the last two seasons? We need a guy with vision who makes people miss; look for a RB who had long runs in college. That was Emmitt Smith.

Henry is a one cut down hill runner. His style doesn't require wiggles. He destroyed SEC defenses with no wiggles and would do the same in the NFL.
