In this thread I have been called, directly or indirectly, clueless, an "*** idiot," and ignorant. Yes, I am getting testy.

Maybe he can be taught to tackle. I don't know. I am rather concerned that he doesn't already know how to - I like LBers to be physical when necessary, and his tackling style seems soft. I think he has ability, but he will need to improve big time in this area.
You try to be a smart*** by comparing DJ's tackling to Deion Sanders. You derserve anything you're called. You knew you were going to start a flame war with that and that's what you got. Congrats.

I will continue to compare his tackling to Deion Sanders. That wasn't to start a flame war, that's what I see. Deion was known for avoiding the hit and instead diving at player's feet. Which is exactly what I have claimed DJ to do.

And as I recall, the "*** idiot" comment came PRIOR to your reading that statement, did it not?

Read the thread, you were right. Anyway, mack brown hasn't exactly been known to get all the talent out of his recruits.

That's pretty true - but it also makes it hard to figure out who the good players are and who the bad ones are....

You get Jammer, who busts, Vince Wilfork (is that the guy who went to NE) who plays pretty well, etc.

Kinda hit or miss drafting out of UT....save the RBs ;)

Wilfolk was a Miami guy, I think. Rogers/Hampton were a couple of studs from UT at DT.

I may be thinking of a different position all together....oh well.

Wilfork is from Miami

Drafted 1 slot ahead of us last years draft - we then traded out of 1.
