So on draft day, who would you have taken him ahead of? Felix or Jenkins? It had to be one of them.

Taking into account that we had TO and Crayton, but had a holes in the secondary and backfield depth and versatilty, it would be a very tough call to have taken him in the 1st round. But it's easy to second guess.

Neither. I liked our two first rounders. But when he slipped to the middle of the 2nd round I would have liked to have traded up for him. At first back in like January I wanted him in the first round. Then it became apparent that using a first rounder on him wasnt needed so I was hoping we could've got him in the 2nd.

Ted Ginn killed Jackson's stock. Had Ginn broke out last year, Jackson would've been taken a lot earlier.

I'm not all about going after flashy names, and college playmakers - but I'd rather have a 170 lb guy like Jackson: that has proven he can make plays at the college level.

Than go with unprovens like Hurd, Austin, Stanback, Amendola, Lowber, Jefferson etc.

I'm content with our WR position, but guys like Sweed, Hardy, and Jackson cruised right by us - and Jerry was the only one who thought about making a move. Got outvoted, in favor of - a 2nd TE?

The only one who has an agenda with Jackson is you

1A. - DeSean Jackson - WR - Cal - This guy has Hester like skills and a WOW speed factor. He flat out can outrun defenses and has great hands and his YAC and running skills are legendary.

1B. Ray Rice RB - Rutgers - a WORKHORSE and great complement to MB3. Very similar running style as Emmitt.

We did not pick him with our first ...... get over it.

Desean has already proven in NFL he is a return stud. Rice will be a better back than Felix

Felix looked lost last night and Jenkins may be 3rd to 4th string CB. Ball,Oglesvy, Scandrick better in preseason.

I guess I don't see your issue with his comment. He said that receivers like Steve Smith are not the norm, that's why he's not fans of them, but that he has nothing against them either.

Besides, it's ok to like Welker and Smith, because they've produced. Amendola is an underdog and everyone loves to to root for the underdog.
