I agree that Kosar was the last quality QB the Browns had, but I don't think they let him go too early. He had very little left as a stater after leaving Cleveland. Decent backup, but not the guy any longer.

Not one person outside of the Browns front office thought what they did to get Watson was a good idea at the time. Nothing we've seen to this point would change anybody's mind.

A classic move of desperation........hell he was at the Falcon's altar( that close to signing with them ) before they scooped him up with the 100% guaranteed contract. NO player would have refused that......

Bears at least got 7 years of adequate play from Cutler. Browns haven't had anything like that since they came back into the league.

I never thought that much of Cutler.. I wouldn't rank him that much higher than Mayfield TBH. Cutler led the NFL in picks twice.. something Mayfield never accomplished! LOL!

I don't disagree. Going with Vinny Testaverde isn't a good thing. He wasn't even younger than Kosar. Sill Kosar was done. Two different choices. Figuring out when you need to move forward from your QB and then figuring out who you are going forward with. It was correct to move forward without Kosar at that time. It was wrong to go with Testaverde. It was right for Dallas to move forward from Aikman when they did. It was wrong to go forward with Carter.
