And thus end your tenure as an NFL GM in the blink of an eye.....
Unless you're the owner.

Agree, kid is a STUD. He can make all the throws, but I think he'll need lots of refinement at the next level. But he's the type of kid that will take well to coaching. My biggest concern is him running to much early in his career and getting hurt again. Is that what reminds you of Vince Young? I don't believe you have watched him play.
I would do it.
My bad on the last name, and Dak did land in a great situation, so have a ton of QBs that weren't worth you know what. I agree with you on a lot of points, but i still think Dak was a better college player and will be the better pro. Can we agree to disagree until we both know what happens?Who is Jackson?
No one said that Dak isn't better. He's actually played in the league. My problem with your post was comparing their college careers.
Also, I said I wouldn't trade Dak. No way, no how. Again, he's actually played in the league. I like what we have in Dak too, wanted him last year, but let's not pretend that the scouts or gurus knew what they were talking about last year when it came to Dak. Let's also acknowledge that he landed in the PERFECT situation and took advantage of it when others clearly could not have (the 2015 season). He has a history of that. He has the intangibles that are too often overlooked.
I think we agree that none of us are scouts, but many pretend to be. ;-)
Cool (but you wrong on the college front-- championships are everything!)My bad on the last name, and Dak did land in a great situation, so have a ton of QBs that weren't worth you know what. I respect your opinion, thanks pal.Cool (but you wrong on the college front-- championships are everything!)
Huge applause from the crowd. People want this. They want a decent human being with actual talent leading their team under center.
You have to think we're deep in discussions on how to make this happen.
Just curious...does your user name have anything to do with the coolest car ever?I respect your opinion, thanks pal.
Yes, partly. I loved that show.Just curious...does your user name have anything to do with the coolest car ever?

I don't understand how there is any discussion over which QB should go first. It's Watson, hands down.
Fans are using hindsight on this one. The college success are not even close. The above is just baffling to me. Please don't tell me Dak was more impressive because he played in the mighty SEC.
So am I fellow alum!I admit that I am a Clemson fan and grad.
Its amazing to me that people are even taking this seriously, it was clearly a joke. Watson is a charismatic guy and owns the room when he is there.BTW, I wouldn't trade Dak for Deshaun.

True, but qbs mostly get all the credit and take all the blame at all levels of football. I've never said he was going to be successful at the NFL level. I truly hope he is and think he can be if he lands in the right situation. Too many young players (esp. qbs) have had careers ruined by being in crappy organizations. Speaking of Vince Young, Jeff Fisher for him was no prize. I sum, I just disagreed with discounting what he did over his three year college career and stating Dak had a better college career.True they are but just as in all of football it is still team not just QB alone that wins a championship. Vince Young has a championship as well and he become the number 1 pick yet things did not work out very well at the NFL level.

The Vince Young comparisons are driving me crazy...
