This, just lost my dad in June, losing an aunt or uncle is tough but a parent takes it up several notches. Still not been right and have crying spells often. My girls will go get mommy when they see me crying. It’s been tough to say the least.

Sorry to hear my friend. I’m glad you are surrounded by a wonderful family though. That helps but I have some understanding where you are at having been there myself losing my brother at 53. Hang in there.

Thanks buddy, one of my co workers lost both parents in 2023 and he reached out to me and told me straight out “it will not get easy”. Enjoy the memories.
