I’ve been saying this for years. No one wants to win more than Jerry. No one puts in a greater commitment to winning than Jerry. He’s just not very good at his job.

The same can now be said of his players. The team simply lacks the talent and ability to be a contender.

This isn’t a character or commitment issue. They simply aren’t good. A few players are, but not enough of them to matter.
Serious question: Did you create this thread in jest? Jerry has proven beyond any doubt whatsoever that he will absolutely not put in the effort needed by an NFL GM. He's extremely lazy, refusing to watch tape to analyze incoming draftees, but at the same time insisting on having the final say. He has proven repeatedly that he is a very poor analyzer of talent, and refuses to put in the time to get better.

So, since you are proclaiming that the laziest GM in the NFL has a huge commitment to winning, then I am forced to conclude that you are joking. There's just no way that you are serious w/ this.

If you have truly been saying this for years, maybe it's time to realize the error in your judgment and say something else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO He wants to win. It'll validate he is a football "genius". He also wants money.
I agree he doesn't know how to win, as his ego to be a football genius is a cancer to the team.
They have been doing this for so long and with yes men outside of Parcells, probably to the point they actually believe their lies about being close to a championship.
He wants branding and a ring.
He talks about all his success he already feels validated by 3 SB's, decent drafting, 3 12-5 seasons, and many seasons above .500 that is why he is so defensive and doubles down on his stupidity. He does not admit the simplest mistakes like hanging up freaking curtains at the stadium, because that will go against his internal validation. DUDE FULLY BELIEVES HE IS THE REASON FOR THE 3 SB's.
