With apologies to Cowboys fans who reside in the DFW Metroplex and the state of Texas, I'd like to know how many fans out of the state of follow the Desperado's in the offseason? I gotta admit, that I have been for a few years now, and it's because of the attachment to the Cowboys. Last season was a disappointment with the first round playoff loss, but it keeps my mind on the goings on in Dallas and Valley Ranch. Just watched on ESPN 2 and enjoyed the victory. Jerry was there and gave a small interview, where he said he is hoping to have TG back for some games next season, and once again mentioned a 'wow' player to go opposite of TO and Witten. I hope he keeps the 2 first rounders to add to a team that is only missing a couple of pieces!

Desperado's are fun to watch. I like the AFL period. I mean did you see the Soul Dragons game?
As to the 2 first rounders don't count on us keeping them both because there aren't many "WOW" players in the draft let alone in the twenties. As for WR if we drafted the top 2 we would be lucky if one turned out to be a decent #2 wide out. Cornerback would be more likely but with all the Hall/Pacman talk don't count on a CB in the 1st. I mean alot of people think 2 first round picks and think that we will end up with 2 guys who will impact the team right out of the gate and that is no way true. The fact is a WR will take at least 2 years to develope and a CB would take the same amount of time to break the line up. We only have 1 HB spot filled so look for us to sign 2 HB's in the draft 1 will be fairly high and the other may be anywhere from 2nd to 5th.

I watch them when I see they are on. Even though I am close to the Columbus team, I would much rather watch the Desperados. Its probably a good thing that the AFL's IR is only 4 weeks. It definitely helps their chances to get Dolezel back this season.

Not likely unless the AFL Injured Reserve is totally different from the NFLs. In game caption said Dolezel was on injured reserve.

AFL IR is not for the whole season. Yeah the game was fun, I just got back from the AAC.

AFL Injured Reserved:

INJURED RESERVE:
A player who is placed on the injured reserve list must be deactivated for a minimum of two (2) weeks. Preseason weeks will not count against that total. Teams activating players from their injured reserve list must do so no less than 24 hours prior to that team's game.

I'm in Nashville and I follow the Desperadoes.

Looking forward to Dozel getting back as well.

It's a fun change of pace. Sadly, that playoff loss last year stung.

I am from Texas but now live in Virginia. I follow pretty much all Texas teams and racecar drivers Cowboys, Stars, Labontes, Longhorns, Mavericks and the Desparados. Saw most of the game last night but it is starting to get harder to stay up past 2130.
