I'd take Fitz over Roy, but i'd be thrilled with both.. as for berrian, well if we can't get one of the other two then i'm all for berrian, at the right price of course.

I'm hearing a lot of people talking about him as a trade option and i was wondering if this was just wishful thinking or if maybe we have some basis to this dream. Anybody have an articles to give me?

It's been reported that he wants out of Detroit and wants to play IN Texas.

It doesn't necessarily mean that he's a slam dunk to be a Cowboy next year, but it looks like his days in Detroit are numbered, and he'll likely be traded next year. Given how Matt Millen is an idiot, MAYBE we can pull a VERY reasonable deal with them(i.e. forking over a #2 instead of one of our #1's).

Both would be nice.

We do know that Jerry's thinking is... to get Romo all the pieces he needs to successful for as much of his contract as possible. So.... I am hoping that Jerry pulls out all the stops all the time.

That would be my preference:

Fitz
Roy
Berrian--bonus here is that he is a free agent and we would not have to fork over picks like we would for either Fitz or Roy. Detroit and Arizona would want at least #1 pick.

I might be more inclined to sing Berrian and keep both #1s.:D

I might go Fitz based on injury history alone. Williams always seems to miss some time. Fitz has missed a few but not as many as Williams.

Fitz is also a year younger. When locking a guy up long term, getting someone who has more time ahead is key.

:laugh1: 1 year? wowzers

I'd probably take Fitz though because he's a better picture of health, like you say

I was listening to 670 The Score today and they said that WR Bernard Berrian
of the Bears would probably be leaving Chicago and that Dallas was where he wanted to be.

*gets excited*

True but I don't think he comes anywhere close to Glenn in talent and if Glenn is to be replaced they need to find an equal replacement.

Glenn could be a #1 for most teams, when healthy, no shame that Berrian isn't quite the talent, because Glenn's closing speed and athleticism is just sick, but Berrian is a heck of an athlete himself, albeit an inconsistent football player, but he's been making some Terry Glenn-esque catches this year

Roy Williams would be a great addition to the Cowboys offense.

When I listened to Detroit Talk Radio, they felt he wouldn't be in Detroit his entire career and would not be suprised if he is playing Texas because he his family is here and he is always talking about Texas.
