Offense has to clean it up, defense did their job again

Didn't look any better on offense with Dak than we did with Rush. That's a concern. Hopefully, it has more to do with Dak being rusty than with the offense just not being very good. He missed some throws that he needs to make and, like Rush, could have thrown a couple of interceptions if the defense could hold on to the ball.

I missed the game living in Maryland. It appears that we had offensive line breakdowns throughout the game. The defense appeared to step it up in the second half. Can someone give me a summary?

We won.

First half looked bad. 3rd qtr wasn't great. 4rth quarter started off iffy, but we turned it on in the final 6 or 7 minutes, on offense, defense, and Turpin Teams.

We haave so many good pass rushers that Sam willimas barely gets any snaps,If our Offense can be average and not turnover the ball we win every time.

Nice to see Williams get a couple of sacks. He's been getting close, but finally looked like a player who can capitalize when offenses are dead set on stopping Parsons and Lawrence.

He’s one that only see thing though the ABD lense the entire offense started sluggish but looked much better as game progressed

Cowboys got bailed out by the refs and the incompetence that is the Lions. Dak did almost nothing for three quarters again, and save for a Micah tackle that saved a TD and a fumble at the goal line that should’ve put the lions up 13-10, the team was fortunate.

Remember that we also had a fumble near the goal line when we were likely to at least get three.

Dak missed some throws he should have made. Detroit played tougher early on against the run than expected. Detroit got some pressure that also wasn't expected. Run game got better as the game progressed.

Defense had a little trouble early on getting consistent pressure as Detroit came in with a game plan to get the ball out quickly, but stepped up when needed to make stops and force field goals. Then, in the second half, it took over with much better pressure and forcing turnovers.

I do want to give Detroit some credit for coming out with a decent defensive game plan coming off the bye.

Remember how he, Dak, got sacked the play before and got bailed out by illegal contact. If anything we would have had 3, karma jumped up and bit us for no points on one hell of hit. If dak takes that hit that Brown did he would be out of the game much less a fumble.lol.

That's totally fair. If we can beat the Bears next week, keep knocking off rust and go into the bye at 6-2, then we will be fine.

defense saved this game. what a great defense this team has right now. good win. the offensive line needs to play better if they do then this team has chance to make the playoffs and do something this year. prescott was good as the game went along. running game was great today.

Might have been Tyler Smith's worst game. Outings like this should have been expected from the rookie. It was one reason some wanted us to start Peters.
